These are really cool stories (and stories-within-stories). I love the way the stories have themes in them, and, of course, the little fantasy bits. So creative! Can’t wait for more episodes.

This podcasts get me through my work day. As an avid reader I love audio books but I tend to zone out at work. But this podcasts captures and keeps my attention. It takes a level of skill and expertise to tell a story within a story all while changing voices and going back and forth. Love this podcast. It’s fun. It’s intriguing. It’s sci-fi. I LOVE IT. Don’t get me fired because i can’t keep stopping and listening to this on these people job. Amazing job!!

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this podcast for years. I got a notification that there were new episodes last month and I finally got around to finishing them. Ugh, where do I begin??? This is such a unique idea for a podcast! So much so that years ago it was the only podcast I knew using a one man storytelling narrative, so dope. I immediately am enthralled by the story telling and even knowing it’s one person doing the telling it’s still deeply riveting. I get lost in every story and listen to them over and over again, it’s just such good story telling! I’m so grateful this podcast exists!

Flyest Fables always leaves me with the same feeling: Morgan Givens can do anything. The worlds created sprawl in front of you, & you have to remind yourself: this is all coming from one person !! I just started listening to this podcast on Spotify and it’s great. I’m going to recommend it to friends and family. It’s great for children.

I’m a children’s librarian and I’ve been playing this to kids who come to a program of mine. We all love it! Morgan Givens is incredibly talented, from the creativeness of the stories to his performance. The stories have great depth to them without sounding preachy, and the kids from elementary to high school get engrossed in them weekly. Simply amazing.

I am surprised that a fairy tale podcast could both make me laugh out loud and bring tears to my eyes. I am a sucker for a story within a story, for characters whose range of gender expressions and orientations matches the range I see around me, for worlds where strength is found in kindness and courage. For these reasons, and the lyrical language and the lovely bits of song sprinkled in, I love this podcast. I wish there was more. Thank you, Morgan, for making it.

I love this format of mostly one voice performing a whole story with lots of characters and a bit of cool atmospheric sounds and foley added in. And I love how Morgan has the lead characters sing to themselves throughout. The framing device of the magic book worked so well for audio, and really drew me in to make me feel like the stories were created especially for me. This hope punk podcast is a refreshing amongst Audio Dramas, where so many other titles are grim and / or horror.

I listen to this with my nine-year-old daughter. She is very engaged in every episode. It’s great for car rides, I love how the story gets passed from one person to another. I love that you go back-and-forth between two worlds. Well written, and very well told!

I like this podcast, but there’s a problem. There has been no episodes! Otherwise this podcast is pretty good. If you’re new, you’ll pick up pretty quickly like I did. At first, it seems confusing but then it starts to make sense. Some other podcasts I recommend are Smash Boom Best, Stories Podcast, The Alien Adventures Of Finn, Story Podcasts, and Brains On. And now on to COVID-19. To me I think that we are going to many things to stop Corona Virus🦠. I think masks are ok but not in school in P.E.! I also don’t think that we need to space out that much. Otherwise, it’s ok for me. And with that being said, I’d like to say that I end this review and that I really like this podcast.

Halfway through season 1 and both my 7 and 9 year old enjoy it. My 10 year old likes the characters, especially their voices and the complexity of the story. I listen with them and thought it would be too complex, but he loves how the stories link and are layered.

Found this podcast recently and immediately subscribed! Compelling storytelling, beautifully narrated and produced.

One of the most earnestly hopeful shows I've yet encountered. Givens tells his stories with a sense of warmth and welcome, but also with a true respect for the complicated lives and minds of children. The world needs more of this.

I absolutely love the story lines, imagination, imagery, writing and delivery. It’s a true escape from life. These stories made me laugh, cry, hope, rejoice and the themes definitely spoke to me personally; I empathized with all of the heroes in one way or another. Amazing talent going on up in here! You’re missing out if you’re not listening. Why have we had to wait so long for more? We need you now!!

I cannot say this enough: this is an incredible podcast. The universe Morgan creates with his incredible storytelling skills is sweet, powerful, and all around amazing. (Also: his voice is sooo soothing.) I connected with the characters and what they were going through immediately, and the way that the different episodes intertwine with each other is brilliant. If you’re looking for a storytelling podcast with sweet and powerful stories and characters, this is absolutely the one for you. Morgan, thank you so much for creating such a beautiful world that is so easy to immerse myself in. You are so talented and amazing. 😄❤️
