    No more diddy
I wonder how many people, like me, mark all tears Diddy episodes as played just to get past them. This story is across every true crime podcast and I have zero interest in. Please move on.

    Read a book
I’m not an expert in why abused women stay with their abuser. Neither, apparently is Andrea Canning - or Chloe, the legal expert (?) who talks about Seam Combs’ crimes against women. I get it, this is trauma-tainment. But wouldn’t it be cool to include someone who does understand these things? Also, not every sexual encounter needs to be described as a “freak off.” You seem to be too enthralled by this word. This is reporting using the least amount of effort. And no, I don’t need to know the identities of the women to understand “context.” You just want to tell us what you know because it’s salacious. We already saw the violence Combs is capable of, we’ve heard it described, he copped to some of it. You’re just playing like this is journalism but honestly, I’m disgusted by you.

    No more Diddy
Please put all the Combs trial somewhere else. I miss the regular Datelines.
  • Umm yeah no thx

    Dateline only please!
Why are we mixing in constant Diddy trial coverage, as well as Karen Read? Please make that separate!

    Ew, No More Diddy’s FFFace
Please stop forcing Diddy’s disgusting face. on us. Love the show but about to unsub because I can’t take the daily closeups.

it needs to be said more
listening to Talking Dateline:The Last Mile and at the very end Josh Mankiewicz says what we all know and think and somehow is not addressed enough. Girls and women are taught so many rules of how protect themselves but the cause is not addressed enough that boys and men need to be the ones learning the lessons. I love every episode but this moment made me proud of what I lchoose to listen to ❤️

    Too much Diddy
Can the Diddy podcast be its own thing? It’s clogging up the real stuff I like.

    EnoughDiddy
I love the True Crime Dateline podcast stories. Please sprinkle a few in throughout the Diddy trial for those that have seen and heard enough of him everywhere. Thank you.

    Fave true crime, buuuuut
My go to true crime, but I do miss the days of episodes on Tuesday AND Wednesday, not the Talking Dateline

    Combs Trial
I like dateline but there are better shows covering the Diddy trial. The valley—girl style of this reporting is bad. Also seems like one-sided reporting. Skip this one.

    Enough of the Ditty Trial!
Can we please stop making stupid famous people more famous? This constant hourly update (seemingly) is getting away from what this podcast started as.

    Too much spam
I really enjoy the core dateline episodes, but had to unsubscribe because the ‘talking dateline’, intros to new shows, and random pop culture trials like diddy kept overpowering the content I am subscribing for.

    Keep out Your Politics
I really like true crime and Dateline, but it would be best to leave out any of NBC’s political views. This is supposed to be objective.

I thought we were past this
I enjoy dateline a lot but their coverage of the Diddy trial has been upsetting. I appreciate that people are innocent till proven guilty but I also think it is worth noting the cycle of abuse and how dangerous it can be to leave a partner, a boss, a spouse, etc. The show has put explained the environment of abuse in other episodes but not in this one. It’s really disappointing.

    The Diddy Coverage
You should have reporters than have an understanding of the music industry and know the players of hip hop…a basic understanding of the history. The people speaking seem unsure and confused, not who I would use to get a true feeling of the trial. It’s uncomfortable to listen to. I listen to regularly and this needs a different touch than the usual. My rating isn’t overall specially for the trial coverage.

    Stop Interrupting
Just listened to Deadly Obsession. I enjoy the episodes but Andrea Canning needs to back off when talking to people, she constantly talks over them, interrupts them, is overly dramatic and multiple dumb questions and obvious statements. Hence lower review. Just let the story speak for itself. Don’t enjoy the Talking Dateline episodes so stopped listening to those. Listening to Diddy trial now. Chloe gives good info but for gods sake can someone talk to Andrea and tell her to just shut up. She talks way too much in these episodes. It’s annoying enough to start listening to anything but Dateline when she’s the moderator!

    Just episodes please!
Considering the number of years you have been on the air, there should be a lot more shows available in podcast foreign, and honestly, make the talking dateline and the news updates separate-there are a lot of people who are not interested in all of the chatter, and just want the stories. Please return to your roots. Also, you're taking episodes that you aired when the podcast first started and repeating them, like recently with "11 Minutes". Really? Not the first time I've noticed it. So it's like not even airing a new episode. It's because you're spending so much time on all that other stuff that you can't give people new stories. You've ruined a good thing.

    Diddy Trial Must Listen
This coverage of the Diddy trial is a must listen. Their coverage cuts through all the noise out there surrounding the trial.

    Diddy!
Loving this episode - lots of great info and Andrea and Chloe are so good!

    Great trial coverage
Loving the Combs trial recaps, great way to get additional details about a fascinating story.

    PLEASE Stop messing-up Murder cases….
The damage that Dateline has caused to the Bryan Kolburger case is unforgivable. If evidence is “thrown out of this case” because of Dateline making the CONSCIOUS CHOICE to NOT HONOR the “Gag-order” that was placed on this case back in 2023, that is unforgivable. It does NOT matter “who” gave the information, it’s 100% DATELINE”s responsibility to honor the court order. The FACT that Dateline made the conscious choice to put that evidence information out to the WORLD prior to the trial, that is irresponsible reporting. If the evidence is thrown out, I truly hope that Dateline is held ACCOUNTABLE. Dateline owes the families a PUBLIC APOLOGY. If that evidence is thrown out, I hope the victims families and 2-surviving victims holds Dateline accountable FINANCIALLY.

Hate all the excess “talking dateline” episodes
I LOVE Dateline! But the “Talking Dateline” episodes need to be moved to a separate show. Not very enjoyable

    Recently disappointed
I have always loved Dateline but I’m very disappointed in the coverage of the Idaho 4. Innocent until proven guilty is still how this country works.
  • Ragnar 41
    Love the podcast BUT….!
I have been addicted to Dateline for years, tv & podcast. Many I’ve listened to more than once. Every reporter is my favorite! Lately I’ve been frustrated that you’ve sped up the audio on the podcasts. This at times has made it difficult to understand certain people being interviewed. Speaking to fast. It’s ruined a couple for me. Revisit this decision? The University of Idaho murders- Being an Idaho resident and both my kids having graduated from the University of Idaho, we are paying close attention to this case. I listened to Keith’s recent updates. I was very concerned that you are putting out way too much information! I feel you are potentially compromising this case. You mentioned, I believe twice, that the information you are presenting is exclusive to Dateline. I then actually heard today that there is major concern that due to the Dateline coverage, Bryan Kohbergers attorneys will now argue that he cannot get a fair trial. The families of the beautiful kids deserve for the alleged murder to have a fair trial without controversy. Again, you might want to revisit the decision to put out way to much information!

    I love Dateline but please…
Please make ‘Talking Dateline’ a separate podcast. Just keep ‘Dateline NBC’ for the standard Dateline episodes. I have never intentionally listened to a single Talking Dateline episode and I never will until it is removed. I used to subscribe for ad free but I no longer do that. Please consider this. Remove it and I will upgrade my review score.

    Disappointed
I started listening to dateline, as it’s a show I’ve always known but recently I was listening to the King Road episode and even went back to listen to the 2023 one. I hadn’t been completely familiar with the in and outs but the devastation I felt once I got to the end of the latest episode was insurmountable. They, without importance, mention Brian’s autism spectrum disorder, while the WHOLE time they spoke on his behavior and conversations with deviation. Acting as though his interactions and responses were purely psychopathic. While people just called him weird and odd. Yes his diagnosis is level 1 but that can account for ‘uncomfortable’ interactions. I’m not giving sympathy to a killer if that is his conviction and the truth of this case. But it’s so shameful the perception of individuals with disabilities in this world and particularly the idea of older men on the spectrum perceived as creepy or off putting because you don’t hold the space to understand. In any way, I hope justice is served for those young lives taken. But I also hope to see a life where deplorable social constructs are challenged. Clearly a storytelling, theatrical show, not rooted in true crime, social justice, or a just system. Which is also my consensus from the many episodes I have listened to.

Will you please come up with new material
I have watched and listened to dateline for years now, but I am tired of you giving a platform to criminals like Lori daybell! That criminal doesn’t need any more exposure! Can you play old episodes and then you have a talking dateline about the old episodes! Please come up with new source material murders happen every single day!

    loved murder in Minot
having lived in Minot,I was fascinated to learn of this story. I can read between the lines. not all tales have fulfillment at the end...appreciate your sensitivity always.

    Nearly 30-year follower/watcher!
I’ve been watching and now thanks to podcasts, listening to dateline for nearly 30 years. What an amazing ride this has been and continues to be. I can’t say I have a specific favorite among correspondence, because each one brings something special and unique to make their reporting their own. All I know is I absolutely love following dateline and will continue.

    LOVE
Love it, Love it all. Keith, all the love-you’re the best. Josh, I love you, your pocket squares, and your banter with Keith. Dennis, you’re a gem with those blue eyes. Andrea, love hearing you talk about your family. Blake-it’s awesome to start hearing a new voice as well. It’s nice to remember you all are human with impeccable storytelling skills. Never gonna NOT be a subscriber and a huge fan!

    Murder in Minot
Awful episode. Seems like it was chosen mainly to take a backhanded swipe at another crime show’s involvement in the case. Also poor storytelling. Found it boring.
  • No I don’t want this option
    Why ai?
Why use ai generated images especially for the cover photos. They look terrible and fake. Nobody looks that bad in real life.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I know plenty of people say they don't like after the verdict or talking dateline, but i love it. This is my favorite true crime podcast.

    5 stars
I’m a true crime junkie and Dateline has always been my top source for a crime show/podcast. The hosts are phenomenal and they always manage to interview a vast array of people to gain insightful and interesting perspectives.

    Quality
My favorite, no one can compare to the quality of storytelling.

    Stop the fluff please
I LOVE Dateline…but it is so painful to be a subscriber now…Talking Dateline and True Crime Updates are below the standard of the Dateline that was hard-earned from years of experience. Please stop the fluff content and focus on what you do best.
  • rwilp
    Lazy
New content is few and far between. There is so much rehashing and repeated stories too. The “Talking Dateline” is garbage. I never listen to them. Don’t subscribe, it’s worthless and you’re throwing away money. I wish they’d just tell new stories.
  • MiMi…..$
    I love dateline.
But there is one host I cannot listen too. Andrea does not know how to narrate. Everytime she reads a sentence and gets to the end, she makes her voice higher. On Deadly Obsession, she literally didn’t let people answer her questions but would butt in to the point of annoyance. Not to mention the stupid comments she makes “oh you’re gonna make me cry!”. Not to mention thinking she’s an investigator with the detectives. Everyone else on this show is great.
  • matilda956
Please make a channel just for dateline episodes
I love the podcast content, but I rated it “3/5” because of all the filler content episodes (talking dateline, after the verdict etc) I usually listen in my car and it makes it hard when I have to go back to the main page every time to play the next dateline episode. If it was just dateline episodes, the next episode would play automatically which is much easier Please go back to just posting dateline!!

    Amazing!!
Love this show! 100% would recommend to anyone. The repetition of clips gets a little annoying but outside of that great job 😁

Still enjoy it and listen, but…
I still enjoy this pod, but miss when it was *just* Dateline episodes they pulled from the TV. The new added episodes are a bit patronizing, IMO. Also, I’ve noticed repeating some older episodes from years ago?
