Sometimes I feel like your are not giving respect on players like Mbappe (during when he wasn’t doing good) or Ronaldo. At some point you got to give a 40 year old Cristiano Ronaldo some credit for actually playing at the level he is instead of saying it’s to much. There are teams like Man City or Real Madrid who are having ONE bad season when City have been dominating for the past 5 years and Madrid guys they are Real Madrid. other clubs. Also me personally I think you guys talk over each other to much but other than that the podcast is Great!

This show used to be a favorite, but over the past few months the format seems to have changed to lead host Dan Thomas asking snarky questions of the former players on the panel and then yelling over their responses. It used to be a relaxing and often funny listen on my way home from work and now it’s just more of the same complaining, mean-spirited and uninformed pap you can get on any news show. Lots of the regulars and backup hosts are great, but they get lost in all the shouting.

Blatant, coordinated effort to bring down Mbappe is tiresome and nonsensical - in a season when he has 22 goals in 29 La Liga games! Successes are always framed as minimally as possible, begrudgingly - making sure to remind the audience that he also had some less effective games earlier in the season (think: do u do that similarly with anyone else?). Mistakes, whenever he doesn’t score or dominate, mistiming a run, missing a shot, are endlessly overblown and lambasted. Do u do that with any other forward - especially any white European ones? Craig’s thinly-veiled, boiling hate for him leads the charge - but Dan plays a strong role in the snarky framings. Most recently: yes, it was hard foul, deserved a red. But do your faces get red with rage, calling people “a disgrace,” “violent,” devoting multiple shows to discussing it, when it’s anyone else - especially any white European player? No.

Bad like you got to compliment 40 year old Cr7 and the level he plays at.

You guys give no respect for players who are doing good at higher ages. For example in your most recent episode the description read “the guys question why Ronaldo is starting for Portugal”. Even though the reason he is starting for Portugal is because he is Cristiano flipping Ronaldo and is known for being the best goal scorer alive. He could score a hatrick against Germany and you guys will still talk badly about him. Give more respect to older players who are still doing well

I honestly don’t think these guys watch the games, just highlights and then provide “analysis.” It’s a shame. Craig, Shaka and Stevie are unbearable. Gab,Jules and Frank are great.

Appreciate the show, and the very knowledgeable hosts. This said, they use a fairly narrow prism, probably due to the need to pick for a US audience - a bit obsessed with just a few teams, a little too opinionated and the hosts tend to pile on on the poorly performing team of the day, and are a bit too chummy with a nostalgic 1990s old player vibe. Would love to see more voices and a more diverse set of themes

I love it, the one thing that I think is bad is that they only talk about the EPL and UCL. Talk about Bundes, Serie A, LaLiga, and even that Mickey Mouse league Ligue 1.

I don’t understand how a show from such a big company like ESPN can have such poor sound mixing. At least once a month (including June 27th’s episode), the sound only comes out of the left speaker (except commercials, which are at least mono). Commercials are often way louder than the show’s content and distorted. Been a daily listener since the 2018 World Cup but sad how amateurish the production of the show is sometimes.

I love listening to the regular show every single day an episode drops. However Steve Nicol has nothing informative to share unless it’s negative. Futbol america is such a pro Messi pro Argentina and pro Miami show… I’m a inter Miami fan and it’s disgusting and inaccurate! I wonder how much they’re getting paid to lift Messi on their shoulders! 🤢🤮 ESPN fc definitely is my favorite sports podcast but futbol americas needs a revamp

For Gab and Jules: one of you is consistently tapping their fingers/hand on the table (or their foot on the table leg) and it’s getting picked up on the mic and driving me nuts. You do it a lot every episode and it’s very audible—please stop.

3 games in a row where Messi broke attendance records, goals records, assists records, goal contributions record, and not even one mention of it but last time Miami lost the show title was: ;TOTAL HUMILIATION; all caps…in case you forgot let me remind you, this show is from the same country where the best player in history plays and still one of the best players in the world right now. But you only care about the negatives… this show is just about hate and some PL.

Futbol Americas is politically divisive. Tried to listen to their Crew title analysis and they open with “going back to the tragic death of George Floyd”.

I’m not a Barca fan or even la liga fan, but the way these agenda-driven hosts of ESPN framed the weekend’s el Classico result in a way that somehow it’s only Barca players’ fault in their loss and ignore the legitimate controversy that occurred during the game is utterly shameful and something that fans need to keep an eye on and hold them accountable for. It’s an absolute disgrace these propaganda-driven hosts are allowed to spew nonsense like this without any repercussions whatsoever.

I’ve listened off and on for a few years. I stopped tuning in because of Steve Nicol. He rarely has anything insightful or remotely material to add to the discussion. I appreciate that he played at such a high level, but he is insufferable, petty and boring.

Please talk less about anything about US men or women national teams. Including MLS and NWSL. These leagues are not worth talking about in comparison to Europe teams. These guys do a great job! The show is very entertaining until they talk about anything here in America…, particularly North America. USA, Mexican League, and Canada. STILL TO EUROPE FOOTBALL ONLY!!!!

can we get some USWNT coverage please, equal pay should include some more coverage as well as NWSL lets grow the game across the board

Their ads are at least 10 db louder than all other ads. Hurt your eyes with earbuds in. Will never purchase any of their products. If you do not follow a big club there is nothing for you except some laughs from this show.

I am a nine years old and it informs me in what happen in game I can’t See and it’s so nice to here different people opinions I came on to my soccer team knowing nothing about football but I learned so much from this podcast

Inconsistent just like Var

In general, I like the frequent updates on both league and international team soccer from around the world. You get episodes for Futbol Americas, Gab & Juls, EPSN FC, etc. I don’t usually listen to full episodes, just the segments that interest me. Some hosts are not good, others are great. For example, I find Seb Salazar to be annoying. It’s a mix.

I love it! It’s fun and informs me about football everyday and I like to here about different opinions !

It’s getting stale. Dan’s act is getting old, Stevie seems like a sweetheart of a guy but he’s thick, Shaka obviously doesn’t even watch the games, Ale feels like everything is a performance. I don’t dislike any of them but familiarity breeds contempt. And this is too long with a crew that’s not exactly standout to begin with. Change things up

This podcast is amazing! I love it and I can get all the latest news, it really helps me after a long day to just listen to the latest news. I always love to see what the boys have to say, and as a fellow soccer(or football) fanatic I strongly suggest this podcast to all football (or soccer) fans. Does anyone else find him absolutely insufferable? He has the most frequent long winded tangents that amount to him repeating himself 6 times. The man loves to hear himself talk.

Great topics, great guests. I listened to three episodes before I was too annoyed by the intermittent music and crowd noise tracks that were played during key conversation moments. Just let the guest speak—we don’t need loud and distracting music or crowd chants that have nothing to do with the answers. It’s so disrespectful to the guests that you don’t just give them that space. The noise was only ever put behind the guests, never the host. Who asked for that??

Amazing show, will always listen, and I’ve been a long time listener. Just please, please stop playing music in the middle of someone speaking, it just takes away from what they have to say and it is often hard to hear them.

As a kid going into to school in America, soccer news is few and far between. I usually am not able to find anyone to talk about my interest in football (or soccer as the Americans say for some reason). This podcast really made me feel connected about to the other billions of people that love football (that sounded corny but oh well). By far the best football podcast out there!

This podcast is so good at telling me what is happening in soccer. Easy 5 stars

Gab and Juls have a separate podcast, so please take them off this feed. I have to mark those episodes as played to get them out of the way. Futbol Americas should also be separated out and taken off this stream. As for the regular gang, I like Shaka, Ale, Dan, Kay, Craig, and (most of the time) cranky uncle Steve. They have great chemistry. But this podcast is bogged down by those other shows.
