    Bikes! Tools! Dave Rome!
Updating my original review below to add that while I mis James on the show, I’m really appreciating Brad Copeland on the show — his technical knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to nerd out on Dave’s level of nerdery is awesome. Excellent, intelligent, informative, funny. And that’s just Dave Rome. With Ronan and James added to the mix, adjectives fail me. A must listen for anyone with even a passing interest in bike tech and, of course, tools.

    For Ronan
Gave 5 stars for Ronan because he recently said he didn’t see a lot of them and his articles are great. Gave 5 stars for James because he is also a fellow TWT alumnus. I started working there a year after he left so we never got to meet, but he was a legend and everyone at the shop always read his articles. Gave 5 stars for Dave and his Threaded newsletter. It’s not helping my bank account since I like good quality tools, but such is life.

If you love bike tech and TERRIBLE puns, this is the place for you!
The bike tech reviews are in-depth like no other, Dave, James and Ronan have a wealth of insights and experience that they love to share. This is an excellent resource for the community and worth your time to give it a listen, even if Dave's puns are sometimes terrible (they have their moments).

Best Bike Tech Pod There Is
Before you read my review, go to escapecollective.com/join and keep this thing afloat, because … … you will be looking forward to the pod each and every week. Even as a rider on a budget for whom 90% of discussed tech are out of reach, it will great to keep up with the things that are out there, and the PSAs are always spot on and apply to bikes from budget to dentist.

Love listening to the group. Great info, stories and a whole bunch of laughs. Everything you loved about Caley, James, Dave and Ronan before is still there!!
  • M.Ostrowski
James stop asking me I’ll do it already
Ronan was so mad about the reviews not coming in the last episode that it motivated me to actually get around to it and probably got around to it before Dave.

Sorry for the procrastination. 5 stars all the way! Leaving the rating was not intuitive. Had to Google how to do it.

My absolute favorite bike tech podcast. Can’t beat the expertise of James, Dave, and Ronan, and where would we be without Dave’s outrageous puns! Support them and the whole Escape Collective, who are changing cycling media.

    Bikes and tools! 🤩
I was so sad when this podcast stopped happening at the old place. I am an Escape Collective subscriber, and this specific podcast is 75% of the reason.

    Ronan shamed me
Great great show, had been procrastinating rating and reviewing until Ronan torched all the silent freeloaders, well done sir. Seriously though, love the variety of disciplines they cover, and the ask a wrench eps are interesting and helpful. Keep up the great work!
  • PNWCyclist
More tech than you can handle!
All the latest bike tech news, but more importantly deep dives into the minutiae of bike tech and tools. Like so deep you have to be a real bike geek to care. All with the proper level of humor. Everyone on this show takes themselves the exact right amount of serious. Which isn’t very much.
  • Bealsjw
    Felt bad after latest episode
Sorry it took me so long to rate. Love the podcast! In all fairness, I had to google how to leave a rating since I listen elsewhere. Keep it up
  • Nguyen GS
Followed Ronan, Dave, and James over here
Best podcast for bike related news. On a side note, I miss having Caley on the show.

    Nerds Unite!
Far and away the best bike podcast produced from the industry’s most trusted voices. If you wish you had friends solely for talking about bikes this one’s for you!
  • 9100Dave
    One of my favorite podcasts
I look forward to every episode of this podcast. Great topics, good interaction between the participants. Love it when they get deep into the tech details, I learn quite of bit from some episodes. Very knowledgeable hosts, and I appreciate the different perspectives they bring each week. Keep up the good work guys, it motivated me to become a member last March.
  • RedwoodRon
The Best Part of the EC!
Escape Collective has some fantastic bike racing content, but there's a lot of it on the web. By comparison, I have not seen anything that rivals the level of depth, expertise, and insight into bike tech provided weekly by Geek Warning. I was saddened when "the other place" shut down, but thrilled that the Nerd Alert band was brought back together and the product is better than ever. I do enjoy Placeholders, Pretty Serious Bike Racing and Wheel Talk, but to me, Geek Warning is truly what sets Escape Collective apart!
  • Keylor107
    Not Just for Mechanics
A really good blend of bike industry information and maintenance talk. Oh, and tools. Lots of tools.
  • 1speedlos
    The band’s back together!
Top notch conversations about tech stuff. Some of my favorites are all together on this show- geeks, consider yourselves warned. While I’m not a road rider anymore (and this podcast is mainly road) I will still listen to every single episode.
  • EWhittemore
    my favorite podcast
Once again, the nerds (geeks) come through with more great podcast content. I think at this point, Geek Warning is my favorite podcast and I always look forward to upcoming episodes. Keep up the good work! Thank you!
  • SuperGlideFX-E
    Shimano guys dropping knowledge
I have listened to the MADE, Shimano new GRX episode about three times now, and I am resisting the urge to roll a whiteboard into my dining room to take notes. Such a great episode packed with so much information. It’s just hard to get this sort of insight anywhere else. Geek Warning, you guys are great! Please keep it up. Thanks for all the effort. I know it isn’t easy.
  • pandabiotch
    More please
    Finally a tech dedicated show!
  • theprofessorplumb
    Support the home team
These guys are great. Probably the best English language journalists in cycling, always dishing out interesting stories about the things you did, and didn’t know about bikes.
  • 5biller
    The BEST cycling tech podcast!
This team of cycling tech experts really, REALLY know what they are talking about. Also, if a product is not performing as advertised …they are not afraid to say so. There is no substitute for the amount of collective cycling tech experience this team bring to the weekly discussions.
  • Jellyshark2121
