    Erudite yet accessible
Indispensable; the best audio form content for this philosophy that I’ve yet come across. The thematic episodes are insightful, structured convos between the hosts, both of whom wield their advanced philosophy degrees gently here, like slicing garlic with a battle axe. The Discourses episode should be required listening for anyone new to the philosophy, I’ll definitely be recommending that widely. The interview episodes have been excellent with the hosts asking truly interesting questions that consistently conjure compelling responses from guests. Can’t recommend this enough for those interested to truly understand the theory and practice of Stoic philosophy in all of its nuances and applications. I think of this somewhat like the Economist magazine in that it assumes the listener’s intelligence but not her familiarity. Thanks to the hosts for this ongoing exercise in justice.

    Thoughtful and succinct
It is clear the hosts are well prepared and have a reasoned and thoughtful approach to each episode. This is stoicism presented on an intellectual level where many similar podcasts lean too much into the emotional masculinity appeal. A great podcast!

    Thoughtful deep dives
Michael and Caleb do a great job of getting at the true depth of Stoic philosophy. Not at the level of life hacks, or ways to feel better, but how to practically do good in the world. Really appreciate being able to listen in on these
