    The best learner podcast
I’ve been learning French for just over a year. I don’t know why it took so long for me to find this amazing resource. It’s never recommended anywhere online but it’s perfect for an intermediate who is trying to break through to the advanced level. The variety of vocabulary used in an authentic way with all the contractions and liaisons is amazing.

Excellent for breaking out of the intermediate-level plateau
Five stars. I discovered this podcast only a couple of months ago and it has already helped me considerably in developing my listening skills and learning more day-to-day vocabulary/expressions. At the intermediate level, it can feel like progress is so painfully slow; news podcasts and those discussing topics in-depth are interesting and very useful, but this podcast really fills in the gap in terms of ordinary everyday speech in short, simple, real-life situations. It’s just enough information for me to work with in 10-30 minutes each day, which is the perfect way to round-out my learning. Merci!

    Perfect format
This is one of the best podcasts for tuning your ear to fast spoken French! Listening to the short dialogue twice, receiving an explanation in slower spoken French and then listening a third time is a perfect miniature lesson to begin the process of understanding conversational French, making it past the intermediate plateau and picking up some great current colloquialisms along the way. Having gotten frustrated with long format TV series, movies and podcasts where it is easy to get lost, this is perfect for spending a daily six minutes and making real progress! Well done

    Excellent podcast
It’s short and sweet but it’s a great format to improve comprehension and get accustomed to everyday, conversational French. The topics are current, diverse and interesting. I love the humor, too. Overall, just a fantastic podcast.

Very well done! Listening every day
The conversations are so nicely selected and entertaining that I am excited to come here and listen everyday to a new conversation. However I was a little disappointed to learn Louise and Julien are not a couple. Maybe the story continues and they fall in love. Obviously I am very invested. Thank you so much.

    Excellent for learning
Great resource with the sample conversation and explanation entirely in French. This is a very useful resource, especially for intermediate learners.

    Exactly what I wanted
They’re are a ton of French podcasts out there that cover news for beginners, and some that cover daily conversations with English interspersed, but this one is the best of its kind because it covers real life topics at a conversational speed and then explains in slow French.

    Good listening practice
I like the format of full speed first then a breakdown. Allows me to practice listings at a real conversation’s pace without getting lost.

    In love with this podcast
I can read almost anything in French but this is exactly what I’ve needed for years to take my listening comprehension to the next level. The short format packed with lots of idioms & slang and spoken quickly followed by slower explanations is perfect for absorbing tons of spoken vocabulary quickly and training your ear for comprehension. I look forward to this every day. Keep up the excellent work!!
