Behind the scenes with amazing authors
A fascinating behind the scenes look into the cookbook industry. An inspiring group of women take me behind the scenes of how these books are created. While I have no plans of writing my own cookbook I love to read them like you might read a novel. The conversational tone, and breadth of topics make me look forward to each episode. Highly recommended for fans of cookbooks!

    Great info for cookbook writers
What a wonderful podcast by writers for writers. I am sure anyone who loves to cook would enjoy it, but information discussed about publishing, growing your platform, and working in food media is really unique and incredibly useful. Thank you for all the hard work to produce this podcast.

    GREAT podcast
For those of us cookbook obsessed (or maybe just rather interested), there’s no podcast that looks as deeply and from as many different angles as Everything Cookbooks. They interview some amazing chefs which are so fun to get insight into. And my favorite episodes are when the 4 hosts talk shop with each other. A total charmer podcast.

    Wonderful
This is the podcast I listen to most consistently! I love food media (and teach a food chemistry course) and particularly cookbooks, and I love to hear these podcasters’ and authors’ perspectives on cookbook creation. Great stuff!

Excellent for any cookbook enthusiast or writer
I’m obsessed with cookbooks, and just love this podcast. The interviews are incredibly informative and insightful, and it’s so fun to have access to a wide range of insiders and experts in the cookbook world!

    Nice
I like the podcast, and maybe this is outside of their scope, but would love an episode about how they manage recipe collections or organize personal family recipe repertoires. Maybe have the “eat your books” people on?

    Perfect kitchen companion
I have been binging this podcast while I finish writing my cookbook, and not only has there been lots of helpful advice & inspiration, but I just love the hosts’ vibe, delivery & interview style. They are naturals! They are clearly experts in their field, super smart & very much themselves, but there is no ego - just straightforward storytelling & a realness you don’t often get on podcasts where hosts try too hard to be HOSTS. 10/10 love it so much.

The Best Podcast on Cookbook Writing
I seriously love this podcast and have been binge listening back to the beginning. The four hosts are very experienced cook book writers themselves and talk tactical advice and how-to information and their guests are knowledgable and enjoyable. This is a very nuts and bolts type of podcast with episodes wrapped in easy conversation and pleasantries. I love this podcast!

    Fascinating & Entertaining
I’ve been a cookbook aficionado for most of my life. I love learning about all that goes into creating and then selling cookbooks. There are so many nuances that I never realized, it makes me love them even more! Thank you to the co-hosts and all of the guests as well.

Great listen even for non-cookbook writers!
While I don’t have aspirations to write a cookbook anytime soon, I’ve truly enjoyed this podcast. The questions asked are smart, the content is approachable and let’s face it: cookbook writers are really a lot like the rest of us!

A must-listen for all food writers
What a true treasure this podcast is for those who want to write cookbooks, but also for those who just love them in general. Each episode feels like a masterclass over coffee. Constant food for thought
I am surprised at how much I learn from each episode about both the behind-the-scenes parts of cookbook writing and the immense breadth of this field of food. The hosts make their conversations with guests accessible and fun.

    Fantastic!
Even as someone who is about to publish their 2nd cookbook, I’ve been finding this podcast not only interesting, but also so insightful. Such a wealth of information! If you love cookbooks, interested in the process, and/or want to write one yourself, I can’t recommend it this podcast enough.

Listen first, write the book later
I’ve just dived into this podcast and have to say I wish there had been a podcast like this when I wrote my first cookbook 20-plus years ago. The hosts ask smart questions, have great answers, and pull in experts. Yes, a cookbook is a lot of work, and it’s kind of like childbirth in that you forget the pain afterwards. But these hosts know you don’t just write a cookbook, you write one that sells.

    Great podcast about cookbook publishing!
This is the podcast I have been waiting for! I am a culinary teacher and have worked in all aspects of the industry from restaurants to farmers markets to food styling and research and development. I’ve done some freelance food writing but the one thing I’ve always wanted to learn more about is cookbook publishing. I am a huge cookbook collector and would love to be involved in the behind the scenes of making a cookbook. I love editing, recipe testing, writing, and food photography, and I just want to learn more. It’s really helpful to listen to this podcast and hear the career stories of the hosts. I feel like there is so much to cover and I’m looking forward to future episodes. Thanks for making this show!
