    I am a recovering cessationist Luther, Calvin and Warfield reacted to the miraculous in the Catholic Church by declaring all their miracles were of the devil and that God given miracles were for the establishing credibility of the apostles. Once this credibility was established all authority was vested in the all sufficient scripture. They tried to destroy the gifts of the Spirit. We’ve been saddled with this error for 50 years. Bethel is a good antidote for folk theology based on opinion not scripture.

    Encourages me to keep spending time with God
    No man is infallible and neither is any ministry or church I don’t always agree with everything 100% but neither do I agree with all theology I believed just a few years ago This podcast and church encourages me to seek God directly by spending time with Him and in His Word (the Bible- both the Old and New Testament if clarification is necessary 😆) My soul is fed, I am encouraged and I am challenged Thank you for being who you are and doing what you are doing

    Kingdom of condemnation
    I talked to a friend this week who was on staff at Bethel for years. He moved in the prophetic and shepherded many BSSM students. But when God told my friend to share his secret of being gay, suddenly my friend was removed and ostracized. The same God who made feathers fall from the rafters had spoken to my friend, but now this sweet sacred voice was somehow false and demonic. That’s not the kingdom of heaven, that’s a kingdom of condemnation and hatred.

    I am so thankful for this Church, Pastor Bill, and the level of surrender to God that they operate in. I live in OK and have never personally been to Redding, but their stewardship to releasing the podcast keeps me updated on timely, supernatural Words from God that confirm many things in my spirit as I read the Word.     I love learning from Bill - his messages are entertaining, practical, but always spiritually challenging. Other pastors are good at practical messages, or entertaining messages, but you leave feeling spiritually hungry. You get the trifecta with Bill Johnson!
