It’s gotten boring

The constant laughing at Felipe instead of with him is sad. Do better. We get it that you two are rich white men but the ignorance is astounding!

But there are a lot of people who can't handle anyone with a different political point of view, so I'll give them a five, despite some of Dana's extremely juvenile toilet humor. (The redneck character)

This is one of the best podcasts I've found. I love the interviews, and their humor is off-the-charts.

Aside from Harland Highway, Bad Friends, JRE, Smartless, etc..

Dana Carvey and David Spade host usually from separate locations with guests checking in from remote locations. They often step over one another during the interviews due to the logistics. It’s like listening to AM talk radio or being on a Zoom call with my mic muted. Joe Elliott was an interesting guest. I get annoyed with the odd placement of sponsor ads, quite often interrupting a good story. The Conan O’Brien, Arnold Schwarzenegger, & Jimmy Fallon episodes made me LOL.

I just love listening to you both! I have always loved all your movies! It’s really nice to hear your crazy humor and silly banters between each other. What a beautiful way to still let us hear some amazing and amusing stories about the big time actors!!

Why does everyone turn into these MAGA doofs , is it the podcast mics that does it. Good thing they got some Real SNL guests before they showed their colors. I see a future with Schnneider and Kid Rock

Listening to Dana do bits while guests are trying to talk is just too painful. I like him when he talks as a real person but the constant impressions are mind numbingly boring. Reminds me of a 9 y/o who annoyingly craves attention. And the MAGA love is a deal breaker. Enjoy your convicted Rapist and President Musk. Peace out.. ✌🏼

The astronauts and NASA officials themselves debunked the Trump/Musk lie that Biden wouldn’t let the astronauts come back sooner. They returned during the timeline date they were always intended to return. The return was set for February 2025 per the agreement the Biden administration made but it pushed out to March due to some issues at Space X. According to these officials, if Elon had a way to get them home sooner than that he never mentioned it to them. You can’t believe a word that Trump or Elon says. You basically know they’re lying because their lips are moving.

I enjoy FotW but the Tiger King episode and their fluffing of despicable Trumpers makes this pod harder to love. Current trajectory is unsustainable.

It was obvious after listening for a long time that Dana was a republican (David too but he does better at steering clear) & that’s fine, but just come out & say it. Don’t pretend you’re calling out both sides. Lots of calling out Biden stuff but not a word on specifics when Trump does terrible things. However, it was fine-I was still here for the comedy nbd. But the tiger king episode 😖 Rough. I’ll stick with Amy Poehler, Mike Birbiglia & the goat Conan to get my joy 🙂

The episode with tiger king was exploitative and insincere. They give a voice to TK who legitimizes the proud boys and related trash, etc.

Musk has Bachelor of Arts in Physics. That’s right an arts degree in Physics. He is not an engineer. He plays engineer with money he made on PayPal. He’s a risky investor who hit it big. By the way, the tax payers bailed out this genius when he’s company almost went bankrupt.

Praising a guy who Sieg Heil salutes at a presidential inauguration (let alone ever) and is stealing money from veterans and elderly people? WILD, I’m out.

They must be trying to siphon off Joe Rogan listeners by pushing frankly weird political angles and conspiracies. Should stick to jokes, guys.

You guys are like uncles who have some weird opinions, and who are a little out of touch, but I still love and can laugh at.

I had really enjoyed this podcast but it seems the hosts are heading down the white dude highway. Super disappointing.

Been listening a long time - tough to keep listening as they choose to platform a convicted felon and celebrate his ties to the Proud Boys with no push back from either David or Dana. Completely disgusted - will no longer listen.

Enjoy the witty takes and interviews. I don’t even care if you like this administration and mention that. What I am finding issue with is the outright defending of specific people. Most recently RFK jr and Elon. All that tells us is that you have too much money. The ONLY reason someone would go on and specifically defend them while ignoring the negative aspects of their actions is because you know they’re on your team. Protecting the rich, protecting their own.

Dana‘s impression of RFK Junior is very funny. His touting of JFK junior’s new role is deeply unfunny.

I grew up on Saturday Night Live—Dana, David, Farley, Will Ferrell, and so many more. For a while, we had an abundance of comedy movies that enriched our lives, but with recent cultural shifts, they’ve become few and far between. Life was feeling so serious—until I discovered this podcast! I’ve been listening for over a year now, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The banter, the laughs—you two always bring a smile to my face and remind me to embrace the absurdities of life. I’m beyond grateful for both of you! Comedy is a gift, and I can’t get enough. Excited for Bus Boys! Thank you for everything you do!

Dana hasn’t been funny since the Standup he did 20 years. That character in Great Mulligan is all time trash. HANG IT UP BUDDY.

Usually get something for the head, heart & a laugh from these episodes … and Dana and David can make anyone worth a listen. They always find plenty. But today’s episode listening to 3 old guys say things like … “It’s ALWAYS the old guy who’s the manager who’s even older than the really old celebrity …” and naming their penises … At least the hosts seem self aware. Marc “he obviously has no idea who I am and what he’s getting into” (repeat) Maron is obviously too successful to care about reviews. So, I’ll leave it at that. (And if this comment about “old guys” is unfair or besides the point, Marc Maron was the old guy who raised the topic … so maybe it’s fair?)

Thank God you’re sane and you can mention you are a fan of RFK, Jr and you see there may be something true about geo engineering. Did you know RFK says his voice issue is from a vaccine he received? Probably one reason he wants people to have the choice to receive jabs or not, as well as wanting proper studies on every jab kids and adults are given.

This enxounter has saved my life for months. Maybe not for years. Thanx to you both for unotherly found humor

Been a listener since the beginning and I have to say you are my go-to listen. Love to hear both of your stories and how you feed off each other. I don’t even mind the “talking over” of guests. 😜. Keep it going, Boys!

Sums it up. Just over the sarcasm and I tried, listening to at least 20 shows. Real texture comes from insight into how insecure white males became so conservative. But, I’ve had enough idiocy and meanness; you reap what you sow, boys, and I hope you’re happy now (insert blistering news cycle). And I know you know someone deeply hurt by this regime. That is on you.

These two really do a great job of working together and having conversations with their guests that are interesting and humorous! I enjoy their discussions about what happens behind the scenes as a comedian or actor on SNL.

Great job guys! Always a good listen. Too bad idiots give you a 1 star review and their opinion paragraph if you lean to hard one way or the other politically. It’s comedy folks!!!

No need to say, this is ‘inside baseball’ every episode cause we understand, the entire podcast is a look inside Hollywood.

I’ve been listening from the beginning and I want to like it. But if we’re being honest the show just isn’t that funny. Often feels like they mail it in. Ad reads are stilted, and unengaged. Now they’ve started slipping in politics with what seems to me a MAGA take. But you know what, especially in these challenging times, I just want to step back and laugh. If a plumber shows up at my house with a MAGA sticker on his truck, I’ll send him on his way. I’m happy to hand my money to tradesmen who don’t make political identity part of their business model. I’d like to do the same with comedy. You can be topical without ever giving up your personal POV (see Johnny Carson). Instead we get Spade saying ‘I’m a dumb-dumb but here’s what I hear is happening’ and launches into a half-baked, ill-informed opinion on a particular issue. This shows gone to the bottom of my Que

Heard Dana say at the end of a recent podcast that he's "excited for this new administration" and he can't wait to see all the changes it will bring. We'll here ya go, Dana, here's a small sampling of what's happened in only the first month under Trump: Released all of the imprisoned insurrectionists from January 6, without taking the time to separate the violent from the non-violent and rewarding their loyalty and criminality. Pulled out of the Paris climate accord and World Health Organization. Defunded the World Trade Center medical fund, suddenly leaving the heroes from 911 without the means to pay for the treatment of the illnesses caused by their courageous and life saving work that day. Defunded USAID, suddenly ripping food from some of the most disadvantaged people on the planet and stopping the shipment of life-saving medicine for babies around the world. Declared himself a king. Imposed illegal tariffs on Canada and Mexico that will raise prices for us here in this country. Proposed invading Gaza, displacing millions and turning this holy land into a gambling strip. Ordered the CIA to send him an unclassified email listing all of the new hires, including their names. Accidentally fired scientists who work on our nukes and on pandemics and the FDA, endangering us all in myriad ways. There's more, way more, but you get the idea. Of course you're funny, Dana, but I also thought you were smart and had a heart. Guess I was wrong. Maybe that senility that you like to make fun of in older celebrities is actually affecting your own brain now. Or maybe you're just an awful human being.

Look guys, I know you are just trying to do a show, but that company is now supporting an oligarchy and an open coup.

I love the show and all things SNL. But when you do ads for gambling, it ruins it for me. I’m sure they pay well to advertise, but I’m also sure you two have enough money. The ads are in poor taste. I don’t have a moral objection to gambling. I just know it ruins lives and wastes the money of people much less fortunate than you. Please be the good guys here.

Why wasn’t Dana on the SNL 50th anniversary special???

Not much more needs to be said other than we are beyond blessed to have the Comedy Ninjas of Dana & David in our lives!!

I look forward to this podcast every week. They book great guests and ask interesting questions. Needless to say they have good chemistry They seem to have a lot of fun with each other and the guests.

I like this podcast because it’s just listening to you guys talk among yourself. Yes, I listen while I’m at work but that’s a good thing, you drown out the machines and make me laugh….win win!!
