I love Star Wars. yea, there’s some series/movies, that aren’t as great as some, but it’s still Star Wars! Kyt and Merc encapsulate that feeling, enjoying Star Wars because it’s Star Wars! It’s so great to listen to these two guys talking so enthusiastically about all the reasons we love it, instead of why we don’t. Keep up the great work dudes.

Thanks to these amazing people I listens to the Thrawn trilogy and loved it. Thrawn is my new favorite charters. If you love Star Wars then you will love this podcast, you will not regret it. These two men genuinely appreciate all Star Wars and seek to understand more than just what is presented. They deep dive into fun facts, continuity of shows and movies, and refuse to dwell on any negative media or influence. I love their insight and respect for every episode and it puts a smile on my face to hear them talk about it all. This show makes me look forward to refreshing my phone to see if another episode has released like my favorite tv show each week. Used to be fairly unbiased Star Wars reviews. Now it’s just defending poor and forced choices that Star Wars makes like the acolyte just being forced representation. That and the political innuendos they use Star Wars to make has gotten too much

I have learned many unique and interesting things about Star Wars from this show. I love the breakdowns of each episode. You’re doing great, keep it up.

Always enjoy hearing Merc and Kyt’s conversations about Star Wars media. They pepper in some solid fun facts, interesting outlooks, and general trivia while discussing their takes on the movies and shows. It helps me appreciate the good, bad, and ugly of the universe I grew up loving.

Honestly one of the better Star Wars podcasts out there, the hosts actually look for reasons to enjoy the shows and they give a ton of fun supplementary information that helps me to enjoy the shows more too. Give it a shot if you’re looking for a smaller show with a positive vibe and fair critiques!

If you are looking for deep thoughts, film theory base analysis of the Star Wars content you are in the right place. The frustration these people suffer from the so call fans complaints of the new Disney SW is so compelling and relatable. They clearly do their homework and go above and beyond to make this podcast and when they see the audiences just spit none sense without any contemplation is tedious and confounding! Please keep up the good work. I wish I could express my level of appreciation for the perfect job that you are doing. This is the way and may the force be with you. I have spoken.

I’m a fan of Merc from his pre-Bungie days on Firing Range and Massive Breakdowns and I love this. They take the same level-headed, analytical, and fair approach to discussing this universe and it’s various stories and characters. Very refreshing to hear discussions based on facts and critical analysis, excellent show.

Love listening to this as a review of the series or movies after watching them and they do well explaining things in the episodes. Also they point out things that may or may not have been noticed when first watching things. Definitely recommend this for any Star Wars fan!

If you ever tire of diving deep into the toxic pool that is Destiny 2’s Crucible, Kyt and Merc offer you a safe haven to rest your weary soul, so that you can relax and engross yourself in the simple, totally non-controversial world of Star Wars… Jokes aside, Kyt and Merc bring their distinctive voices into an excellent show discussing everything Star Wars. The probability of hot takes is high, and the show is in an exciting time with the advent of the new Star War TV series formats. Great work as always.

Not only do Kyt and Mercules discuss Star Wars, but they go in depth with very strong opinions about each show that has been presented to us so far, and they don’t argue about it. They acknowledge how the fan base can have its ups and downs, and they don’t care for what others have to say about their opinions on the matter. I really cannot get enough of how solid this podcast is.

An awesome companion podcast for any Star Wars viewing. I love Merc & Kyt’s deep pulls of trivia and Easter eggs that I may of missed. Their tone and demeanor is fantastic with thoughtful breakdowns that are low in sodium. A must try for any Star Wars fan.

I love listening to these guys talk about the Star Wars - essentially, listening to a couple of people who get on well talk about something they share a passion for is like pouring liquid gold in my ears, but in a metaphorical way not in an actual way because that would probably kill me. I love this podcast. Merc and Kyt are great to listen to, and the overall quality is very high. I love that they are both Star Wars fans, and are looking for ways to love Star Wars. Unlike many fans who look for ways to be mad about every new Star Wars content, these two celebrate Star Wars and bring a lot of Star Wars knowledge and references to their conversations. As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I love listening to this podcast. After listening to this podcast you’ll be able to say “I am one with the Force. The Force is with me”.

A must watch for any fan of Star Wars. The hosts are knowledgeable on current Star Wars and media that had direct involvement of George Lucas and Dave Filoni. Stays on topic and is family friendly.

Love the podcast and I can not wait till you guys get to the films as I had watch last summer everything Star Wars in chronological order. Clone wars makes the prequels so good and rebels with the extra films and shows coming out cement that the OG trilogy is that good. Keep up the great work fellas! Light the fuse..

As a fan of the initial Massive Breakdown, I am glad the boys have branched out. Been listening to this show ever since it was called the “IRL podcast”. Super glad it’s got it’s own feed now. I’d rate this podcast above 5 stars if it would let me.

A great addition to any Star Wars fan’s content schedule. These guys know they’re stuff and pour all of their passion into what they do. One of my favorite podcasts to listen to on my drive to work or school (along with they’re destiny podcast) and even when building a lightsaber of my own. I’m actually building a kylo ren lightsaber as I’m writing this review so let me get back to soldering. Much love Merc and Kid, I’m signing off.

Really fun reviews of each season of the various Star Wars TV shows, with little trivia tidbits and tie-ins to other media in the canon and legends universe. Hosts really enjoy Star Wars, but still offer fair criticisms when needed.

This is an amazing podcast for any Star Wars fan whether they’re a diehard or a new fan. The hosts are a lot of fun and passionate about Star Wars.

Great podcast. The hosts provide great detail and perspective on the different Star Wars topics without leaving the listener behind. The insight allows the more seasoned fan to enjoy but it doesn’t go so far down the rabbit hole that if you are not as knowledgeable you can’t be a part of the conversation. 10/10 would listen again.

Found this podcast from the Massive Breakdowns podcast and glad I did! As a long time Star Wars fan this really hits the spot. With a deeper dive into characters and sub plots that you won’t get from just watching the movies, this is a must listen. I watched through the entirety of the clone wars series years ago, and haven’t started the bad batch yet. However this show might be the thing that gets me to start watching both. Thanks to Merc and Kutch mahalo nui my braddahs.

Unlike the Moogan smugglers in S3E5 of The Clone Wars, Kyt and Merc are NOT diluting the Jawa Juice before they ship it off to Mandalorian schools. What's that? I'm being told that this cut is too deep, and I need to take another swing at it. Look, either way, this is a very good podcast. The hosts break down all of Star Wars, finding fun info to share about production, threading the needle between story arcs and series, and generally basking in the glory that is the (new) Star Wars extended universe. : )

Followed these guys over from Massive Breakdowns, a must listen Destiny (the game) podcast. If you want to dive into all aspects of The Star Wars universe, this is the place. Enjoy and "may the force be with you."

This is singlehandedly the best Star Wars podcast I have ever heard in my life. I’ve been a star wars fan since the hot young age of i can’t even remember and these guys just really hit that sweet spot when it comes to the star wars universe. The commute to work is always that much easier with a massive breakdown to look forward to.

The show has finally spun off to go independent from its roots as the Patron reward show for Destiny Massive Breakdowns! Discusses Star Wars TV and movies, with lots of trivia and added background info, and connects the dots between different bits of canon media (and sometimes legends too)!
