I had the fortunate pleasure of being in Tampa for the game - and got to share that moment with my dad, who drew me to being a fan since I was a young kid. A moment I will never forget. I have been listening to Galdi for several years from each state I have lived in (NH, ME, IL, TN). Hands down without question the best podcast covering the Skins. At this point Galdi feels like family and I try to never miss a day! Thanks for everything you do Al and never stop!

L Goldie knows it all! So detailed, knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic for all things commanders related. He knows so much about sports, it’s really unbelievable, yet believable all at the same time! Love the show, and listen to it every day.

Edit. Added the final two stars. My complaints still stand, but I have come to realize his station’s selected clips did him no justice. And his horrible into music is a reminder to turn it down to damp down the yelling. +++++++ He was my least favorite guy when he was at that radio station, whose name I will not utter here. I wish he would not yell so much, and I hate the looped tape bits….we get it…. he’s a goo-aurd, Happy Thanksgiving, blah blah blah. That said, great Redskins content - informed and insightful. I also LOVE that his pod descriptions give you time stamps so you can listen to what interests you and not be bothered by content that does not. I am glad that he landed on his feet - I hope he soars in this format without the dead weight of that station holding him back.

Awesome content. Great insight. Galdi - I heard from a few close friends who went to the (preseason) home opener that the “aura” of the stadium already feels better. Including the fact that they already removed the, oh so terrible, Sean Taylor display. Is it possible that some of the new money invested in stadium renovations combined with the QB1 and new regime results in a revitalized home crowd for the 2024 season? Thus resulting in an ACTUAL home field advantage despite the typical stadium take-over from in-division opponents. Or will it be the same old story? I think with an early season home win against the giants in dominating fashion would be a great start! Exhausting seeing AND hearing the opposing fans taking over the stadium at home games. What say you?

Galdi presents well researched and informed opinions with honest discussion involving all DC sport teams. He prioritizes analytics as an evaluation tool and I particularly enjoy how he incorporates it into the pod. However, Galdi’s guests are what really separate this podcast from the others in DC - as an example, interviewing multiple LSU training staff members regarding VR headsets and their implementation with Jayden Daniels was next level content! Being out in time for my morning commute is a major bonus too👍

There are guys that can be traded away and become all stars: Stowers, Mayo, Holiday, Norb, Basallo,… the list is longer. They are only gonna reload, Elias and staff with development in mind, has a system in place to trade for elite pitching. Other teams in the league see it, that’s why it was an easy trade for Burnes even tho people questioned both players. However, if they don’t know by now who the actual dudes are, the guys who are def better than the other guy, talent wise or mentally. They know, other teams don’t. If Elias is really good, he already knows what’s gonna happen. He gets what he wants, chosen by staff and numbers, they’ll get 2 pitchers 1yr & 2/3yr, relievers probably included. They might trade with contending teams, if regulars are involved, teams might trade with playoff teams.

Al is an expert and provides great detail in his analysis. I like that the pod is labeled with the topics and the times so I can go to the point in the pod and hear what I want to! Keep up the great work!

Been listening to Al for years when he was on the Team 980 and now on his podcast. Al provides deep and thorough analysis with great guests, interesting content mixed with some well placed humor to offer a consistently entertaining program. Al is great! Who else can queue up the Orioles Magic song???

Galdi provides the perfect balance of football team coverage (why I listen) and other Washington area sports teams. Al gets great guests and provides just the right amount of commentary. A great listen!!
