I just wanted to say that Elon does rely on Government funding and he has for many years starting at Tesla which he purchased from the real developer and then made changes good changes yes but he does cut corners and not follow regulations and he has many federal investigations one was at USAID where he started the destruction of and now he wants to tear apart CFPB the peoples protection from them from him and other fraudulent banks corporate or other scams crypto we just can’t let that happen. Back to his Govt. dependence he also has private contracts for Space X he needed these contracts desperately bc he spent a lot of his money trying to get these rockets up and back with plenty failures. That’s where we need to stop fraud and abuse on these private contracts. All these cuts 10% of every single federal entity even essential workers who protect the public which were supposed to be exempt remember? Nope they illegally did it and saved nothing hardly bc they were barely budgeted most were short handed esp the FAA 1650-2000 fired crazy unsafe moves. People need to know what’s going on no transparency nobody named as running the doge and no clearance checks. They are threatening media pouring money into Judge elections Wisconsin firing jag to implement trump loyalists blaming Ukraine black mailing him and threatening to take over the mail usps to control elections and most importantly sharing of information! Love tuning into this podcast to know what’s happening in politics. We need news sources we can trust when traditional media has bowed down to the Orange Ketchup Smelling Monster.

Democrat takes on most politics. Not for the more progressive.

Specifically with regard to Liz Smith interview—save us from these useless political strategists and consultants.

BTC is right that Democrats need to take control of the narrative in the media ecosystem. But the example of your guest Elex Michaelson saying the way to do that is for Harris to say “oops, I was wrong about supporting trans prisoners” who get brutalized in prison is NOT taking control of the narrative. Platforming trans kids at DNC, at rallies, in ads, showing strong positive joyful trans kids is taking control of the narrative. I’m so sick of these pundits who think Dems have to sacrifice support for marginalized trans people to win. Instead, like with Gaza, Dems just lose another faction of their base due to their cowardice.

I love your show, BTC, and have been listening for a long time and have never had a serious disagreement with anything you have said until now. Whether you agree with the reasoning for Biden to pardon Hunter or not, for you to repeatedly say that he lied is inexcusable. He changed his mind after reevaluating the situation when circumstances changed. That does not mean that he lied. Do you not change your mind when you receive new information? You would be extremely close minded if you didn’t. His son is being targeted. He is in danger. You protect your family. He’s lost enough.

Was hoping for more measured tone and relaxed delivery. I will stick with some other offerings like Pod Save America and What a Day.

Have been listening to your show for a while and for the most part have liked and agreed with you, although I find you too upbeat and optimistic of the immediate democrats prospects. Last show however deeply disappointed me. You had Mehdi Hasan on who is an antisemite and openly advocates for the destruction of Israel. You did not push back on him once, which makes me think you agree with his position. There is a difference between being critical of Netanyahu and wanting to wipe Jews off the face of the planet. I voted democrat for the past 30 years and this election was the first time I wavered because of the racist, blind hate progressives have for the Jews. I still ended up voting for Harris. I am afraid it may very well be the last time.

Taking points are no difference than msnbc and cnn. Blows me away people listen to this guy
