I was new ARMY in late 2022, and I went back and listened to all the earlier episodes to get more context on the history of BTS. These two friends are so thoughtful in their topics! They have covered aspects of all the things surrounding BTS that no other podcast does. I cannot recommend more strongly!

Jimin’s MUSE review was “phoned in”. There wasn’t much depth or prior research done. I’m surprised bc you normally do better.

I really have enjoyed this podcast! However the dead air is so jarring. I like the fangirling and the conversation, but the super long pauses do make it hard to listen too at times. Fun podcast though! 💜

I love this podcast so much, I’m a pandemic army so this podcast has helped me get through some really tough times and has helped distract me from some stuff. I’m sad that I don’t have enough money to be a patron but I’m supporting from the sidelines! And it’s fun listening to other people simp over BTS cause I have yet to meet other army in person 😅

Now that I’ve worked my way through the majority of this podcast’s episodes, I feel like I can leave a review! I can be a bit long-winded, especially when I like something, so the short version is: this podcast is incredible and you should listen to it! If you want to know why I think it’s so great, buckle up and keep reading… Kalea and Julie balance fun and seriousness really well with this podcast. As someone who doesn’t yet have any army friends irl, I appreciate it when they fangirl and get excited about things like changing hairstyles, since no one I know understands my excitement about these things (if you want a laugh, check out their one year episode - I was absolutely cackling at the end!) I also enjoy the perspective they bring as armys who have been in the fandom longer than most others. They cover things that many others don’t, such as the business aspects of Hybe, and they also sometimes take a critical look at aspects of Hybe (their episode on cultural appropriation is really good) and the army fandom (solos, manager army, twitter drama, etc). As someone who has only been an army for a couple months and was therefore very recently an outsider looking in, the drama and negativity was a huge deterrent for me and almost turned me away from getting involved with the fandom. I’m grateful for people like Julie and Kalea who speak up about this stuff and restore some of my hope in humans! My sole critique is that the intro and outro audio is super loud compared to the main episode audio. But literally everything else about this podcast is fantastic and I’m excited to finish listening back to their older episodes and see what they have in store for the future. Julie and Kalea’s love and respect for BTS is apparent and I’m glad I found this podcast!

I found this podcast when Julie followed me on Twitter and I’ve been in love ever since my first listen. I appreciate the topics Kalea & Julie dive into, especially the recent episode on Big Hit’s appropriation of native/indigenous culture. I always appreciate when my fellow stans acknowledge that BTS/ Big Hit aren’t perfect and we should have discussions about the areas they can improve on. But this podcast also have a deserved amount of fangirling,too! Hopefully, I’ll have some alcohol to drink when it’s time for the next happy hour. Purple you ladies! 💜
