I’m trying to listen to every podcast from the start (on 13 right now). Why did Joey stop asking for reviews in the more recent episodes.

The podcast is amazing. Talks very in-depth about both the dota game and the dota community. The guests are well chosen, and the topics that are talked about are also very informative. Love to hear more from Cap and our boy Joey every week.

Informative! Entertaining! A great way to keep up with DOTA on commutes. Cap is well spoken and full of interesting stories and pro scene insights. Leaf is well versed in various topics and has grown on me. A great highlight to my ears and days!

I listened to the first few minutes of the Twitch Rivals episode. I heard the comment, “On a scale of 1 to George Floyd” in regards to a police encounter. I’m not going to listen any further. I don’t know if you guys have used your platform to raise awareness for racial injustice or not, and I may never know. Like I said, I’m not going to listen further. Making light of such a heavy issue undermines anything positive you guys very well could have done on an earlier issue.

This podcast is nearly 30 episodes in but somehow it still manages to sound like an old modern warfare 2 lobby in terms of voice quality. I know one of the hosts (joey) used to work in hollywood and is now unemployed, but perhaps he can work out some sort deal with his co-host to get an acceptable microphone, or even pick up a mad catz headset from goodwill which will surely have better audio than whatever contraption he currentyl uses to record his voice. scuffed audio aside, this podcat is great. the topics and guests are interesting

This was my go to podcast when I still needed to drive to work. Now It’s harder to find a time for podcast (I’ll play 12v12 if I have the time) but I still enjoy it a lot. Question: What are the other games you two play beside dota 2?

I big podcast fan. They talk good things. make laugh much. Very inform. DotA good. Drops enabled if listen. Free arcana if listen. Definitely not review bot want arcana.

They are like the people that show up to work in sweats, sandals and a polo compared to a suit. One person takes the job super seriously while the other gets the same work done but may drink throughout the day. At the end of the day you know whos more entertaining.

Cap and Joey are a great combo that makes for fun and interesting podcasts. They interview players and talent in an engaging way that delivers a more personal interview and helps the audience get to know the Dota personalities. TLDR: Great podcast, listen plz

Took me like 5 minutes just to find out how to leave a review on this website , usually listen on Spotify. It’s honestly nice to have just a chill podcast where dota exists but isn’t the focus. Listening to it just feels like chilling with the boys, with the casual atmosphere and lack of sellout ad breaks! I’m glad I can listen to these two idiots babble on instead of listening to annoying pretentious coworkers :)

Y’all, I never, repeat, NEVER listen to podcasts despite people telling me for YEARS to listen to this or that. As soon as I heard about Sidepull I knew I needed to give it a listen and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! I didn’t know and still have to google who Leafeater is, but I started following Cap sometime right before TI9 bc I legit love his style/voice and he makes me laugh really hard. I listened to this on my drive up to Portland and back, so like, legit several hours straight. Was just arriving home at the end of the episode with the “head trauma” and I just about died and had to pull over I was laughing so hard I couldn’t see the road thru my tears. AND LEAFEATER I KNOW IM LIKE MAD LATE TO THE GAME BUT WILL YOU SEND ME SOMETHING?? 😂💓 Love y’all!!! Can’t wait for more!!

Joey and Cap have a good dynamic and it’s always good to hear more about the DOTA2 scene from the folks in the thick of it.

This is easily the best Dota 2 podcast available. These two are both very good at talking, and very passionate, knowledgeable, and interesting to listen to. The fact that there isn't any cheesey intors or outros or soundboarding, or "but first..." sponsor spots going on, that it's just an hour long conversation about the Dota 2 scene, makes it easy to listen to as well. Keep it up, guys! Also, I'll be watching on YouTube mostly to admire Cap's fantastic viking hair.

I have been looking for a good Dota 2 podcast for awhile and this one is the best. Capitalist is half of the greatest casting duo of all time and leafeator the guy who invented the most boring way to play Dota with his jungle necro guide.

I came for the dota, and came again for the bruised penis stories. 5 Stars.

This podcast is great

Leafeator is extremely comphrehensive and educational. I learned a lot on how to be a better Dota player after absorbing some of the most difficult concepts that were broken down into easily digestible components. All in all, a fantastic guide for any novice player to take up if they want to become something more. Thank you!

I’ve been following the scene for quite some time and it truly is great to have a podcast that is both easy to follow for newer audiences while still remaining pertinent for more knowledgeable players. Big fan of Capitalist and leafeator and it’s been an absolute treat to get to see them collaborate on such an amazing project!

Have been following Austin and Joey for a while now, so great to see them do a podcast together. More genuine and entertaining than other Dota podcasts I’ve listened to. Can’t wait to see how their show develops!

It’s an in depth podcast, without taking itself to seriously. Great mix of comedy and Dota coverage!

The two hosts do a fantastic job of presenting dense information in an approachable way. I might not know everything there is to know about DOTA, but they're great at contextualizing all their conversations

Joey really knows his stuff and is handsome
