Been a faithful listener for years
Party of love and acceptance strikes again šŸ‘ Pretty sad to see you bring politics so hatefully into a completely NON political forum and ditch your friends over it. I’m not even a part of your group you’re hating on , but it disgusts me so you can f right off back into your echo chamber.

    Highlight of my week
Ryan Stacy is an amazing podcaster who covers a wide variety of horror movies. Funny, witty, and pop culture savvy; His knowledge and insight in all the ways to survive these movies coupled with talented and charismatic guests make this an incredible listen every week. I make a point to never miss an episode and have relistened to quite a few over and over again. If Ryan Stacy has no fans, then I am no longer on this earth. Love the show and can’t recommend it enough!

    Favorite Horror Podcast
I love everyone involved with in this podcast so much. Every time I listen to an episode I feel like I’m having a chat with old friends. I have listened to every episode four times and it never gets old. I have a suggestion on a movies/other to cover. The horror comedy musical anthology series by Starkid. The guy who didn’t like musicals, Black Friday, Their web series Nightmare time, and, Nerdy Prudes Must Die. That is also the order you watch the series. It would be super cool for you to talk about this.

HIGHLY suggest if a horror fan
HIGHLY suggest if you’re a horror fan (especially of the horror classics/horror franchises) this is going on my third year listening to the podcast and the whole idea behind it (what to do if you’re in a horror movie and essentially SURVIVE it) is a great concept. The rules, the merit badges, it’s all just very well put together and most importantly ENTERTAINING. As a 90s kid who grew up watching classic horror movies this podcast is a treasure. Shout out Ryan.

How to Survive a Horror Movie
I’ve been a horror fan ever since I watched Monster Squad when I was five. Scream terrified me at eight, and I lived for the day that I finally got to watch Silver Bullet. It’s great to find a podcast that analyzes horror movies the same way I always have. Love the show, always a good time!

I used to like this show until social comment
Honestly sick and tired of young white liberals thinking it is ā€˜ok’ to inject their political commentary into podcasts that should have nothing to do with politics. I am referring to one of the hosts making the comment ā€œold white menā€ in a scene during the ā€˜Cabin in the Woods’ episode. They would NEVER make a blanket statement like that about another culture - and they shouldn’t. There should be no slights towards any race or culture, but hey, I have literally heard this ā€˜safe’ comment 4 or 5 times on podcasts on different topics. Keep your bigotry to yourself and stick to actually talking about the topic. I actually enjoy the movie review and theme of how to survive.

You Had Me at Leprechaun 4
You don’t need to be a fan of horror movies to enjoy this podcast. The banter between the hosts makes this a fun listen. The guys break down each movie at core scenes and add their person observations and takes to each. The humor each one adds has me coming back for more.

    In Honor of Randy Meeks
Great premise that is executed with tremendous detail and great humor. I especially love the commitment to completing all the movies in a franchise. I have seen so many of these sequeals once or twice, but I forget the characters and the specific plot details because they are not classics. This podcast helps me revist those films and dive into all the specific character and plot details, which enhances my overall memory and experience with that film. This podcast will have you reciting the rules out loud the next time you watch any horror movie and you see characters make stupid decisions. Highly Recommend!

    Horror lovers unite!
The Friday the 13th episode is excellent. I can't wait to hear what more the hosts has got to offer with this podcast. I'm hoping they cover Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the one with Jeff Goldblum) although that may not be considered "horror". Anways, I subscribed so please keep making awesome episodes!

Terrific premise for those who love meta horror
As a heads up, this is one of two shows with the same title, and it's the bette rof the two (no disrespect to the other show, this one is just more to my taste). The host lines up different gurests each week to break down a film beat by beat to determine if the characters acted in a way that should have allowed them to survive to the end, or if they're stupidity and bad decision making meant they were always meant to go under the knife. They've established about 14 rules to date ("Constant Vigilance!") and they all make sense. Great listen, and I'm always curios to hear who wins their "Randy Meeks" award for the week.
