jcr444Great content , all in Italian. This show is entertaining, interesting and also has some very funny moments, all while learning Italian. I truly enjoy listening. Love when Linda reads (short stories or excerpts) . Linda, have you done any work in audiobooks? I would enjoy to listen to a book narrated by you. Thank you for doing this show!

JaputieToo quietIt’s so much more quiet than my other podcasts and music and when I listen to it I have to turn it way up then it ends and I get blasted by loud podcast after it .

Queequeg1Un podcast informativo e divertente. Complimenti, Linda!

MissTheOcean1Thank you! This is my favorite intermediate-level, completely in Italian podcast. Linda’s short presentations are always informative (and alway respect the intelligence of the listener—they never condescend!). Now I have a long list of authors, artists and other interesting Italians to explore. Grazie mille!

TuliaGFThe best Podcast to learn ItalianLinda does an amazing job at presenting wonders of Italian culture. Excellent podcast to learn Italian. The best I have found so far. I only wish we could have more episodes soon! I need more episodes Linda!!! Have already heard and enjoyed them all!

GuglielmoDVery Instructional yet funAs an intermediate Italian speaker, I really appreciate this podcast. All of us experience time constraints in this busy world, and these lessons are usually under 15 minutes. Listening at lunch or in the drive home is perfect. Also, many foreign language podcasts are partially in English. These entire episodes are all in Italian, and has helped me even more in broadening my vocabulary. These include idioms and everyday conversational Italian and is a great practice for when I travel. I’d definitely recommend any intermediate speaker and above subscribe to this podcast.

DagnyFabulous!! Grazie mille 🌼Culturally interesting topics done with charm and warmth. A great way for non-native speakers to keep their Italian alive!! I come away from each episode with a deeper knowledge —not only of Italian culture —but other enriching topics! I’m so grateful this podcast exists.

🏖bumBrava Linda! I love this podcast 👍I love this podcast: thanks to Linda, not only do we get to practice italiano, but also delight in learning interesting facts about herstory, literature, and culture in a short, concise, and ad-free format. Brava Linda! Mile Gracie for your podcast❤️

Timothy HullBest Italian PodcastThis podcast provides an interesting and smart way to learn Italian through literature and language. The episodes are a good length (although they could be a little bit longer) and I always enjoy all the stories and things I learn. It’s perfect for anyone who is intermediate or advanced- which isn’t always easy to find in a language learning podcast. I appreciate this podcast a lot.

BrionBuonoThe Best Italian Podcast!Linda R. writes and narrates beautiful pieces on subjects from literature, history, culture and science that are easy to follow from an intermediate level on, and explore Italian culture like a dream course you wish you could have had in college. Her flawless and musical diction, wonderful production, and wide range of subjects always leave me wondering what she will cover next, anxiously awaiting another amazing podcast!

AlexNY73893A Wonderful Italian Language Podcast!!This is a fantastic Italian language podcast that is extremely helpful for people learning/maintaining their Italian. Linda covers a diverse array of topics in Italian culture, history, literature, cinema, culinary arts and other genres, all the while, making it an interesting and fun listening experience. Every podcast is thoughtfully prepared from start to finish, well researched and superbly performed. You can really tell that Linda puts a great deal of her heart and soul into each and every podcast. Linda has a very soothing voice that’s easy to listen to, which in turn, creates a relaxed listening environment that really aids in the absorption of the grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure of the Italian language. I always look forward to new episodes and enjoy relistening the earlier episodes in the meantime :) If you have at least an intermmediate level grasp of the Italian language, I would highly recommend this podcast!
-
gluisExcellent podcast for intermediatesI don’t remember how I came across this podcast, but I’m grateful that I did every time I listen to it. Linda, the person behind Speak Italiano, chooses topics that probably resonate with most folks learning or who are interested in Italian and she does so in a modulated speech, with a rich vocabulary. I’ve been learning a lot about many of the topics that fascinate me, e.g. language, literature, food, etc. I hope more people review it, so that more people come across it!
