You see it every day. It’s the subject of poetry, literature, art and film. It can inspire spiritual experiences, and it can destroy everything you have ever worked for. It is the weather, and no one knows it better than we do. Join us every week for the agony and the ecstasy of the one story that the entire world participates in and the science behind it. From the people behind The Weather Channel TV network.

    Geoengineering
Perhaps a few episodes on how Geoengineering is impacting our weather and our planet

I too am a weather geek
I feel like I’ve found my tribe. I love thunderstorms in particular, but I’m enjoying learning more about weather of all types.

    One of my favorites
I’m so glad I discovered this podcast.

    Informative and engaging
I’ve been looking for a good podcast on climate change, that is informative and based on science. I really like this one.
  • Bkemps
    Fascinating
I recently got interested in learning more about the weather. This podcast has been helpful and fascinating and inspiring. A great listen! Host is pleasant to listen to and does a great job.

    Best weather podcast
I really enjoy listening to the episodes. So much to learn, so little time.
  • CheeryPolitico
    Worth your time!!
Concise, informative, and interesting. I have a basic understanding of weather (BA in geography), but my interest is now just a hobby so I really enjoy quality podcasts on weather— so far, this is the only quality weather pod I’ve found. Keep up the great work!

I would enjoy this podcast more if the audio quality were improved

    Interesting and engaging!
I am not a weather geek, but am casually interested in science, and these interviews always have something for me. It’s interesting to get a peek into this industry/subculture, too. I second the complaints about the audio quality, though. Just getting a quality microphone for the host would be a big improvement, I think.

    Audio Quality
Please please please, do something about the quality of sound. Awesome show. On this past show I got so many stream bytes (audio distortion) 08.05.2020 other than that. Friggin’ sweet!
  • Scituatemareader
    Really solid
Great topics, but the host needs an upgrade of sound equipment. Sound is echoey and a bit amateur.

    Very professional
I think this is a very well produced (thanks, Weather Channel!) and very interesting podcast. Dr. Shepherd is a good host and interviewer, but can be a bit interrupty and full of himself at times (yes we get that you were the president of AMS) but overall keeps the conversation going and does a decent job stepping back and explaining complex topics when they come up. Always seems to have great and interesting guests.

    Problem?
What’s the problem with announcing that a podcast is a repeat from a year ago? The Cantore podcast is not a new one, but a repeat. Shame...let viewers know.
  • Huffmanbran
Let the guest talk without interrupting
Jim Cantore has his own testimony and doesn’t need anyone trying to pick him apart from question to question while he is mid sentence.

    Excellent!
The episode with Dr. Judah Cohen was really interesting. His explanation of the different factors that affect the winter forecast was fascinating and very instructional.

Awesome. Informal. Interesting. Amazing I love it and it is a must

    Teach me.
Several of the episodes have discussed that meteorologists do a bad job of explaining weather to the public. Example: how to the public the difference between a tropical storm and a subtropical storm was confusing. I wish the host and guest would take the time to explain what the difference is. I enjoy weather but have much to learn, I wish they spent more time explaining weather topics in addition to learning about each guest. *Will Google Subtropical storm now*

    Best Weather Podcast
I have been looking for a weather podcast for a long time, and this podcast checked of all the boxes! The compelling interviews and authentic personalities allow this podcast to become an acme in weather podcast design.

    Wonderful Weather Pod
I’m a weather geek, I watched the show, and love this podcast. If things like dew point, astronomical twilight, lunar illumination, and wind shear are things that tickle your nerd giggle than this pod is for you!
