Such a great podcast but no updates in 2 years. I tried contacting the podcasters through their e-mail and Facebook to ask what happened. If Lane August could only post something or a one minuet podcast update to let us know if there's any chance thy're coming back with more episodes.

Best podcast I listen too. I work the graveyard shift and I listen to this podcast. The night is a lot more enjoyable. The best episode so far was the April 1, 2020 podcast but they are all great. Listening to this podcast brings back memories of how I wished I had a B9 robot as a friend when I was a kid.

Awesome show. But as I said before, less interviews and more episode by episode breakdowns. These guys are friggin funny. I lowered my rating because I don’t listen to the boring interviews with set designers.

This is the first podcast I have ever listened to and I am amazed by how well it is done. I am a HUGE Lost in Space fan. Love the episodes reviews with all the sound clips and I really enjoy the interviews. I am hooked!!!!!

I’m so enjoying getting caught up on the previous recorded episodes of this awesome podcast. I had been watching reruns of the original LIS on TV and started to do some digging on the web. One of the things I lucked into was Alpha Control! The host both come across as big fans of the show and they interact well together. The production values are top notch and must take a great deal of time to produce such a great show. Really love the expert use of original clips combined with sound track music. Love watching an episode then going and listening to the guys break it down. Love hearing all the trivia too! Keep up the great work! Much appreciated.

Stumbled onto this podcast that took me right back to being a kid & watching Lost In Space reruns after school. A well done podcast!

Come one, come all! For fans of the original series and fans of the Netflix series who want to discover the origins of the classic sci-fi adventure, this podcast is essential listening. I grew up with LIS and thought i knew it all but host Laen August brought my beloved series to life in ways that i never expected. Love it!

My ex-wife never understood why I loved Dr. Smith, the Robot & Will so much. She should have listened to this show & maybe we'd still be together, but I digress. Seriously, this show has me reliving my youth, at least the fun parts. I'm blown away at the quality of this show. I've listened to the first 15 shows or so & they get better & better. My favorite episode so far was the interview with the film score guy Jeff Bond. I'm a professional musician myself & the soundtrack for this show doesn't get the respect that it should. I prefer the later Theme song, but its all good. My favorite episode of the entire series is the Anti-Matter Man, but second place would be Return From Outer Space. Keep up the good work fellows & Don't get too Lost in Space!

I just found this podcast & am binge listening now. This show is full of fun, humor & information! As a life-long Lost in Space fan, it's clear that the hosts are serious about the series & doing an excellent,entertaining job of reviewing the episodes. The production quality of this podcast is like nothing I've ever heard, but even better - the special interview segments are absolute gold! Can't wait for the next guest or episode review guys. You guys are great when you actually reviewed the show lost in space. But far too often do you have any special shows that have nothing to do with it. Just reviewed lost in space that’s what I tune in to listen to

Funny and detailed. The first few episodes are a little free-formed, but they quickly evolved into one of the most professionally produced podcasts around. Very entertaining, almost like radio theater!

This podcast is an absolute must-listen for diehards, casuals, and especially newcomers, like myself! Laen and Kurt’s love and respect for Lost in Space is so genuine, that you can’t help but get swept up by it as well. The production is top notch, and highly entertaining (Kurt’s Dr. Smith always leaves me in stitches). Watching along is too much fun, as I find each podcast episode just as entertaining and enjoyable as the episode being covered. So strap in, folks, and prepare to get lost in this incredible podcast.

Although difficult to pick favorites, I have a few that I listen to over and over again. Laen’s interview of Angela Cartwright is wonderful. I love the story of how Angela became an actresses. Angela’s acting trajectory took her to outer space! She has a great voice and is pleasing to listen to. Your interview with Gary Francis and his lost interview with Jonathan Harris is FANTASTIC, talk about great voices! Gary’s story is pretty fabulous in and of itself. Jonathan Harris is pure gold, he is someone I would have liked to know. His interview was warm, funny, witty and very revealing. He is a brilliant raconteur. Thank you.

I absolutely love this podcast! I’ve been a LIS fan since its original run and was delighted when I found this PC. I love the production notes and the great interaction between the hosts. Very entertaining. I recommend it for LIS fans and anyone else who loves classic TV.

Don’t be a Bubble-headed Booby... listen to this great podcast! This is my favorite podcast though sadly, I kind of binge listened to it over a couple of days and now I check my phone for a new episode with the regularity of a teenager checking for Snapchat posts. It’s kind of pathetic but that’s just how good Alpha Control is!

Lost in Space was my favorite show as a kid. I was so excited to find a podcast about it. Can’t wait to listen to all these episodes. Thank you !

For years I’ve been waiting for a podcast to come along that would give me a good companion for rewatching LIS, and this is it. While I enjoy the recaps, I find that I’m really loving the interviews. For me, they have been the surprise hit of this podcast. The amount of time, love, and care put into them really shows. So thankful that we have a podcast like this one to have the longer form chats with people behind the scenes. They show real appreciation for, and understanding of, what makes LIS special.

I listen to so many Star Trek podcasts (Especially "The Next Conversation") and have always lameneted that there's no Lost in Space podcast series. And even if one popped up, would it be any good? I'm so happy, Laen and Kurt are great, they have attention to minutaie that is always interesting, discussing facial expressions of the cast, story logistics that either don't make any sense, or are admirable. The hilarious reuse of every bit of of props either owned or unowned. They describe each person as an actor and as a character, and its typically hilarious. They have a great give-and-take. They are well researched, and bring the fun stuff to the forefront. The world of Irwin Allen is so crazy, and they have a true love and appreciation. Thank you guys! I hope you never lose interest in doing all episodes. Pleae have occasional special editions with the new show, as a fun bonus extra. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

So extremely funny and entertaining! I love the detailed narratives and parsing of each episode, the many sequenced audio clips, and the carefully researched backstories. I laugh out loud at the hilarious Dr. Smith imitations and the commentaries on all the characters and their interrelationships! I also appreciate that along with all the fun, the hosts’ great respect for the series and all of the players is clearly evident.

If you love Lost in Space, you’ll love this review show of the classic tv series from the 60’s. Hosts Laen and Kurt are dedicated fans, dissecting each episode in a fun and engaging way. Their bonus episodes are a blast too—especially enjoyed the interview with LIS Producer Kevin Burns!

These guys are candy for the ears. I'm having a blast listening to these great friends with their dulcet tones and razor wits simultaneously celebrating and sending up these episodes. What a treat!

It was great to go back and relive some of my fondest early Television memories. The first season in black-and-white is stand out, and these guys fill in the grey areas.

Soothing voices, quality audio, comedic banter, precise information. Kurt and Laen have such creative minds and do a very great job at portraying the scenes verbally for us. I really enjoy the laughing going on during the show as well, puts a smile on my face. Keep up the work guys!

I've enjoyed the first 3 episodes of "Alpha Control", quite a trip down memory lane! Lisitening to Laen and Kurt is like sitting around with old friends over a beer. I like their lively banter and the little factoids that they add to the mix; mostly things I hadn't heard before. I remember the big buildup to the first show over 50(!) years ago, and fun to relive that excitement through this enjoyable podcast. Keep it up gents!
