    Great relatable duo
I thoroughly enjoy the podcast. Jake and Kris make a great pair with a balance of perspective. But for the love of god, Joel Feder is insufferable, please minimize his appearances. He sounds like a child thatthatthatthatthat skipped his Ritalin and thinks his opinion is fact. I can’t be alone in skipping the episodes where he is “featured” He’s got a voice for writing. He should stick to that, I’ll continue to not read any of it anyway

    Can’t miss!
This is so much more than just a car podcast… a spirit of exploration and the wonder of discovery permeates everything these guys do. Kris & Jake consistently deliver thoughtful and interesting interviews and updates on their own adventures. Give it a listen - you’ll be hooked.

A show by enthusiast for enthusiast
It’s not always about cars or driving but about challenges, as a listener and a road tripper this is my go to for road trips! They may be short people but they are great in person also ! Friends and very enthusiastic! Highly recommended!

    Entertaining idiots
Lots of fun if you like to listen two a couple of idiots rant about **** they know very little about. How could it go wrong? Just remember it’s entertainment and that these two in no way should inform your perspective on anything and you’ll be fine.

    Real Deal Auto Enthusiasts
This is an amazing podcast about cars, history of cars and the hosts are real enthusiasts. They work on their own stuff and their passion, knowledge, humor, and personality is AWESOME. It’s especially cool that they are located in Midwest. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait for the rally!! The episode about the Pinto and Kris’s daughter was incredible. Tear Jerker!! Great writing. TAKE THE CAR !!!
  • Amazing podcast! stop cussing
    Please stop the cussing
I am a younger guy who loves cars and motorcycles. This podcast has taught me to look at things differently and over all, this is an amazing podcast to listen to. It’s funny, clever, and sets a good opinion. As I said, I really like this podcast but when I listen to it, I have to put on headphones because I don’t know when the next cuss word comes out. I live with my parents and they get annoyed when I listen to people cussing left and right without a boundary. Thank you for understanding!

    Fun And Entertaining Podcast
I love the Overcrest Podcast. The subjects they cover are often fun and obscure. They also have deep dives into known stories which enrich our knowledge by going deep into the stories. There are times that I don’t always agree with Kris or Jake (more so Kris lol), but I always respect their views because they’re supported by substance. Even when I find myself disagreeing with them, I am always entertained by them. I look forward to continued enjoyment from listening to them! Thanks Kris and Jake, keep the great content coming!

A podcast to make you happy
These two guys are great, lots of really interesting history and good discussions. A small herd of capybaras, which had been brought into work for animal binding therapy, was accidentally feed a large dose of caffeine and went crazy. During the ensuing lock down I listened to several episodes until I was rescued. Thanks guys!

You have it all right here.
Whatever you may be looking for in the Automotive Podcast landscape, you will find it here with Overcrest. Honest opinions, great history lessons, intelligent interviews, raw emotions, and a healthy dose of comedy are plentiful with Kris and Jake. Once you listen to one you will want to hear them all!
  • BMcSoCal
    Creepy but still good
Kris needs to get therapy for his inferiority complex. If you can tolerate Kris’ constant weird and very creepy way of sexualizing everything and Jake awkwardly laughing off Kris’ juvenile mocking of height….. it’s pretty good.
  • Cyclingphotog
    A rare find!
I was tired of the hectic, constantly-interrupting-one-another style of DWA and was looking for a better option. Kris and Jake put so much effort into this content. I’m catching up an all the old ones but meanwhile loving the weekly posts. Thanks guys- well done!
  • Dusymuffler
    Better than Top Gear
Easily one of the most entertaining automotive podcasts with host/co-host chemistry that rivals the old BBC Top Gear. Chris and Jake share an incredible dynamic resulting in the perfect entertainment for any commute, road trip, or working session in the garage. Best listed to with a cold beer and a wrench in your hand. Keep it up guys - huge fan.
  • Unkle Sam Cerwinske
Unbiased automotive journalism, unless you like Miatas or Tesla. Or anything that isn’t Porsche
Do you like cars? Do you like fun history relating to cars? Do you hate small Japanese “sports” cars or vehicles propelled by electricity? This podcast is the source for you! Tune in to get strong opinions from the always right Kris and the back talk of Jake who’s main goal of the podcast is to strike the flint at the kindle that is Kris’s temper.

    Best podcast
The only podcast I listen to. Cars, news and history — everything a man loves.
  • Moochie1622
    A really good car podcast
Self proclaimed “pretty good car podcast”, But I think this is the best. Kris and Jake do a fantastic job on this podcast. You can tell this is a big passion project for them and they put their hearts into it. A ton of research, time, and energy go into their history episodes and the Friday project updates / news is always some of my favorites. Keep it up guys.
  • Kash.Rabb
    Love it!
I am rewriting my review cuz in past 1.5 years that I am listening to Overcrest, it just got better and better. Actually this is the best podcast out there, so much fun and laughter, definitely a reason to take the longer road home. I still head-bang the whole way through the intro song after 277 episodes cuz I know after the song there is awesomeness waiting for me! Love you guys 🤘🏼

    Excellent Podcast!!
Kris & Jake are great hosts. I listen to at least one episode a day during my commute to/from work. Great inspiration to get out and drive. Take a listen and you won’t be disappointed!!

    I love driving my Porch
Swear it was spelled PORSCHE 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
  • Rita!!
    Euro fan boys
They get a little annoying sometimes and for some reason just bores me. I guess this format doesn’t really connect with me. Just two slightly annoying rich guys in their “awesome” porches. There are other cars out there that are better ya know...anything with a LS....Mustangs....M3s....240SX......any Nissan z......MR2.. the list goes on and on even if there’s no porches in it
  • Mark Pribanic
    Pete Stout Episode 🏁🏁🏁
Just finished the Pete Stout episode. Really enjoyed it! Keep up the AWESOME werk Kris & Jake!
  • b5_dingus
    Great Listen
Kris and Jake are two great people who love cars, and it shows every Monday and Friday. It’s great to listen to two people who are so passionate about the culture and the cars. I look forward to each episode!

What else could you ask for in a car podcast?!
You won’t need coffee for your morning commutes any longer, because you’ll have Overcrest podcast! Unquestionably, Jake and Kris are the top of the automotive podcast pack with their witty banter, fantastic interviews as well as their remarkable chemistry. The Overcrest podcast is a no brainer for car guys and gals. Get listening now, they’ve got quite the backlog.
  • thekoreansaab
    Wayne (Kris) and Garth (Jake)
I can honestly say this is my favorite car podcast. They have amazing interviews with racing legends, automotive designers, fabricators, etc. They even have history episodes of things, people, and places you would have never thought of that impacted the automotive industry. These guys are definitely a dynamic duo. You may even think of them as the automotive Wayne’s World. You will find your self going “whoa!!!!” or “I was not aware of that”. I always look forward to every episode and I can’t get enough. Thanks to Kris and Jake for their work and dedication.
  • bob123456789zzzzz
    Just another car podcast
Couple of guys with troubling political views, Porsche-centric view on car culture, and overall witty banter.
  • Corvetteman45
Great job gents-keep up the good work!
Informative, fast-paced and entertaining. If you are any kind of ‘car guy or gal’ you will enjoy this podcast.
  • Turborobo

Best intro music evarrrrrr! Podcast is pretty rad too!
  • ramrod2121
    Best car podcast ever!!!
I’ve listened to many other automotive-focused podcasts and this is by far the best I have ever heard. Kris and Jake are so much more enthusiastic and engaging than any other hosts. Monday and Friday mornings are the best times of my week! I highly recommend.
  • JVC8790
    Why did I wait!?
I’ve followed Kris for a few years and always have enjoyed his Instagram content. The one thing that was missing was I had never actually listened to his podcast. I decided to change that, and after one episode, I was hooked. Keep up the awesome work and fun content!
  • twodot0702
    First time listening
Nice work Kris. I’m hoooked Stephen.
  • CarlJ
    Outstanding Podcast
Was never into podcasts, but I found you guys a few weeks ago and love OverCrest!!! I’ve been binge listening starting from the beginning every chance I get! I’m a fellow Porsche addict, but just a true car guy at heart in general. Love the show, keep up the great work!!
  • biggkoz
    I love the news episodes
I normally only listen to music podcasts but this shows helps my daytime gig go by a little faster. I love the news episodes because you can be informed without having to read all the bs comments like you normally do on your typical car forum. Chris and Jack are the best! ....(jk on spelling).
  • Fisher901
Great guys. Great guests. Great time.
Make some new friends to hang out with in a virtual driveway meetup.

    RS4 RS4
First came Car Talk with Click and Clack. The original kings of car banter. Then came Jake and Chris. Obsessed with Porsche and European cars, these two titans of industry discuss car news, car guys, and car projects in a way that even me, an Audit Manager by Day, Alpaca Farmer by night can genuinely enjoy. Keep up the good work. PS- My alpacas do not agree with Jake in that old AMG’s are grandpa cars. Let’s set the record straight. As the ancient proverb says, “He who drives GM In-line 5 cylinder engines shall not throw the first stone”
  • Jdheoebehah
    Sometimes great, sometimes facepalm
Ignore anything they say about upcoming/current vehicles. It’s like they don’t grasp the fact that times change, and enthusiasts like us are an irrelevant minority of market share, and throw howling neckbeard tantrums.
  • Thund3rClapper
    Better then Carcast
I used to listen to CarCast and I just can't take that anymore. I much more enjoy Jake and Chris.
  • Not a card shark
    Just great stuff
Better all the time. Listen once, You’ll be hooked
  • jdmsolberg123
    Great podcast
The best automotive podcast out there. Witty banter, in-depth history stories, and compelling guests.
  • 6PackJack3601
    Absolutely amazing
I love this podcast, whenever I’m in the car with my parents I always listen to this podcast. Every episode is something different, not to mention some guests they’ve had on the show. These guys really know what they’re talking about.
  • Chadsci
    Updated review!
Updated::: Jake has finally shortened the length of the tailpipes on his 911 so I like the podcast even more! Great podcast guys!!! Ive been listening since the beginning and I’m a patreon member too. I Love the show. It’s a very easy show to listen to. The audio is very good too. You don’t have to worry about missing a episode and being behind as each one is typically a new topic. Love the show guys keep it up!
  • Digital K
The best automotive podcast out there.
Kris and Jake have great chemistry together and with interviews, news and history episodes it never gets boring.
  • Kyles ipad12345678901
    Worthless.
Horrible. Complete waste of time. These people are not car guys. They are just outright mean people who know a little about cars and a lot about how to be a holes. Don’t bother.
  • puppycheer16
    Ehhh. Euro-car lovers
Great podcast for those who avoid american cars. Good guys casually discussing cars...often in detail. But...no american cars. They confused a Pontiac rwd “G8 GXP” with a foretable fwd G6 GXP in a recent episode! Unforgivable. Tried to listed to “influential cars of the 90s” and not one american car. No ZR1!? No Turbo Regals, Cyclone? Tiphoon? ? C’mon! Unsubscribed...
  • Fishahman
A good dose of garage talk
I was a member of a motorsports club in college and as a result spent a lot of time hanging out with car guys (and a couple car girls). Now I have a wife and kids who, due to other interests and age respectively, don’t provide very good automotive related banter. Overcrest does a great job of filling that void with the quasi-technical, judgemental, and opinionated content that I grew to love from my garage buddies. Keep up the good work!
  • BrandonLong
The podcast is great but you’ve got to do something better with Buster
This is a great car guy podcast. It reminds me of the good ol days of BSing with my friends in the garage. The only thing that’s not great are the Buster segments. You guys have to do something to pick that up, the quality just isn’t great. It just sounds like some guy talking to himself because he’s not great at changing his voice. Right now I just fast forward through those segments.
  • Redsonics
    Best Car Podcast Available!
I never subscribe to anything. I don’t believe in it. However after a short time listening to Kris and Jake in immediately signed up for their Patreon. The podcast is that good! Jake does an incredible job researching for his history episodes and Kris is refreshingly honest and quite hilarious. If you like cars, Overcrest is a podcast that MUST be in your weekly rotation. You certainly won’t regret it!
  • Chris_991.2
    Excellent!
This is my new favorite car enthusiast podcast. The hosts are very entertaining, and they provide a great mix of current automotive news, in-depth interviews, and humor. I highly recommend it!
  • Tango9045
    Very engaging.
These guys do a great job of capturing the passion for driving performance cars (Porsche’s) from a regular-guy perspective. Great blend of technical/project stories and European car culture material. Next best thing to Cars and Coffee or a PCA event.
  • fueledbymetal
    Fun podcast!
Great recap of the news and the deep-dives into automotive history are excellent!
  • Scorchnoma
The podcast (and the Patreon) are well worth it
Kris brings a boatload of personality and Jake's perspective brings a novel accent on automotive current events. History episodes are a colorful walk through lesser known chapters of automotive history, and the guests have been regularly impressive. Excellent road trip fuel for your ears when you #takethecar.
