GemjambuttersAmazing story tellingIf you like hearing the dirt on the rich and famous, then you are in for a treat. Jake has a soothing voice that you can listen to for hours. I am always learning new info about my favorite musicians and actors. I find myself constantly sharing these stories with the people around me. So much, that they have jumped on the bandwagon and are also eager listeners. Keep it up Jake and everyone else!!

Edmeza517The only reason I listen to podcasts. What can I say. I’ve been listening to Disgraceland pod since it’s beginning. I’ve turned many friends and anyone that will listen on to this podcast. The wide variety of artists from many different genres is what makes this podcast a great listen at anytime. Rockin rola

Lainey_74Disgo & NEVER look back!!This podcast is AMAZING! You can’t get enough of Jake telling these stories! He & His team are amazing! The work they do is untouchable! Just when you think you knew about your favorite celebrity or musician- he throws in a twist. Jake is the cool friend we know and we’re the Disgo family he loves to talk about! I tell everyone and anybody about this podcast! It’s worth every minute! Rockarolla!

Hamy75Nostalgia PerfectedThe opening stanza of the Go-Gos episode; those moments are what we are jonesin 4. Beyond Measure.

C-JuvJake never misses.I’ve been listening since 2020 and enjoy every episode, even ones in which I do not care for the artist. Just finished the David Crosby episode. I never cared for his music until after he passed away. I took a deep dive into his catalogue and really enjoyed it. Man truly was an outlaw musician who made great music. My only complaint about the show is that i usually listen during my long work commute. I often think The sirens and screeching tires are real. Just kidding, keep up the good work.

PinstripedGator🐊Easily one of the best podsJake is a one of a kind storyteller (who also has the best name as per my son). Captures your attention and imagination in a way that you can close your eyes and envision the story. If more than 5⭐️ was a thing, we’d be smashing!
-
TjkusmcMust have in your PodbraryTop notch research, production, and delivery. This is a must listen!!!!!
-
Ambhosk82Love itI love listening to this podcast. Jake is such a good storyteller and I am always entertained when I’ve got this on. Luckily, lots of musicians do have a lot dirt so I’m hoping this podcast can continue for the foreseeable future 💜😎

-
Angie_189Good but can be annoyingThis podcast has good stories but it is overly produced and too many ads 4 minutes in and it’s still not started yet. It’s too much
-
DLee23xGood not greatEntertaining. Not necessarily focused on facts but good nonetheless
-
Bboop617Ok podcastInteresting stories. Lose the background music. Really annoying.
-
CDarwin6565Liable and slanderYou have a fondness for trafficking in some of the most repulsive, disgusting and irresponsible, conspiracy theories…even for the Internet. I’d like to start a baseless conspiracy theory that you have a PhD in Fake News from Trump university, but there is no such thing and Trump university was a scam. You come close to blaming Sharon Tate for her own murder by suggesting she and her pals were part of an S&M Devil cult—a claim MAGA types promote, not surprisingly. See if you can find a Hollywood/rockstar connection to pizzagate or faking the moon landing.
-
kyd 000001Beautiful modern storytellingThe language used to describe Winona Ryder drowning as a child was so vivid and piercing that I was practically coughing up sea water on my walk home from work. Jake really knows how to paint a picture, and these are the kind you find beneath the wallpaper of long abandoned mansions and once wealthy estates. He puts you there.
-
jules.420One of the best shows out thereBeen listening since the very beginning of Disgraceland and am stoked that there’s still more stories coming. Not to mention Hollywoodland and Dead and Gone, Jake B is such a great storyteller with impeccable taste in music.
-
MrsKJLHJake can tell a story!!I listened to this podcast on a whim after hearing an ad. I fell in love with it. Jake is such a good storyteller. I find myself on the edge of my seat even if I know the story. Definitely recommend!!
-
PodcastFanQueenMy new binge!Someone asked me if I had listened to the Marilyn episodes of this pod so of course I ran to listen because she’s my personal icon. And now, I am HOOKED! It’s like talking with my friend. We are obviously of the same generation, so everything Jake says is like YES! I love the narration, I love the commentary, I love melatron, I’m just obsessed! Telling everyone I know to listen, binging every episode! Great podcast, great host, great subjects…. Just super awesome!
-
Mile High MoeThe Voltron of PodcastsJake and the Double Elvis crew form like Voltron and he just happens to be the head. Jake’s story telling skills are second to none. It’s a dying skill and he’s running with the embers. The music is tremendous. You don’t even notice it is unlicensed it’s soo good. It definitely sets a vibe. And the writers! They pull out unheard stories about artists I thought I knew front to back. This podcast still amazes me after many years of listening. I got both my kids hooked on it. my son and I are Patreon members. All I can say is Thank you team Double Elvis, don’t stop.
-
Djrich62Outstanding!An incredibly well constructed podcast, impeccably delivered by the host Jake Brennan. This is a polished production that deserves every one of the five stars! A must listen!
-
Jetpacks JeffThe Pod I Recommend to EveryoneThis is the pod I most look forward to every week. No matter what the subject, Jake will approach it from an angle you are not expecting. He covers a lot of topics I thought I had a decent amount of background on, but I’m constantly surprised by the unpredictability of this show. Jake’s reporting is always thoughtful, unbiased, and razor sharp. This pod deserves your attention.
-
Betty Jean RTo much profanityLove the content and podcasters voice….but just a little too much profanity for me. Wish it was different. Not for me.
-
Ocean1185Well, this scratches an itch…I spent an entire summer, about 15 years ago, reading memoirs and biographies about dead rockstars—even ones whose music I didn’t even listen to! I just like hearing stories about creatives and the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of their lives. This show captures my interest with some great storytelling about all the creatives of our generation and the generations before us. Also, I also love the way Jake says “melotron.” He has a sexy voice.
-
J3di0n3Excellent WorkI’m throughly enjoying your deep dives. It would be amazing if you connected with people who are close to the stories or artists and got their take or input, that would propel you to a whole other level. We love you just the way you are though, Jake, just a thought. I’m officially hooked on Disgraceland! Proud to be a member.
-
ForyouredExploitiveGossip about how celebrities die. It’s dehumanizing and disgusting. It’s also boring and hard to follow because the guy is just all over the place.
-

the 3rd JimAnything but a Disgrace! This is my favorite Pod going. It combines two of my favorites 1. true crime & 2. Music. Jake is an amazing storyteller and there is probably already a great podcast done here about one of your favorite artists. I think I would be friends with anyone who enjoys this podcast, and as I get older, I don’t like anyone!(haha, j/k sort of). Download it NOW!
-
iKlassyRock History Unplugged!Disgraceland is THE ultimate authority on all things rock. Jack gives you a fly on the wall view of even the most intimate moments in the lives of rock stars. Get an in-depth take on the Manson Family and the final moments of the Tate and La Bianca murders, who killed Jimi Hendrix, what happened at Altamont and don’t get him started on Woodstock 69! Well researched and sound produced with new episodes EVERY week!
-
MoelightsoundThin Lizzy- UltraThin Lizzy episode is everything that is great about Disgraceland. Everything that is great about rock n roll. The kids know it’s dangerous. Ha. We always knew. Great show, amigo.

-
PureSaraSueIt’s a man’s worldAll the stories are about dudes. No bad girls allowed I guess. 🥱
-
Mke219This is a top shelf show.I’ve been listening to Disgraceland for a few months now and it’s only just now occurred to me what Jake’s real super power is. The show is well written and produced, is the perfect length and the topics are varied. But where Jake really shines is in his ability to make musicians and genres I’d normally not give a second chance to come to life and be interesting in a way I’d not thought possible. If you have even a passing interest in music this show is for you.
-
Cindy13❤️ReviewI recently discovered your podcast. I absolutely love it. Thank you for your contribution to my daily listening
-
aquaman470Subscribe NOW!Greatest pod EVER!!Do you love music? What about the stories behind some of the greatest cultural phenoms in history? You’ve found your new home. This is the place to be for ALL the best stories about ALL your favorites.
-
DJ Daddy BGive it a go...Disgraceland quickly became one of my favorite podcasts because it puts an interesting spin on the old rock and roll tropes. Quality writing, quality production, quality delivery (even at 2x speed), and quality subjects. I consistently find myself riveted, even on the shows I didn’t think I’d be interested in (Norwegian death metal?). Check it out if you dig music, pop culture or simply a great tale well told.
-
Eric FentonJust WOW!!!!Greatest podcast EVER. Taken over my phone. Cant/Wont listen to anything else. Okay, not completely true, but I listen to 10 Disgraceland pods for every one of the other only two other podcast I like. Keep it up and as always, Rockarolla 🤘🏻
-
Chuck DestructionSolid storytelling about everything you care about (or should care about)…Jake has made the controversial comment that rock n roll is dead. It is. Over the years, he and his esteemed team have gone through the hard work of collecting and archiving the worst behavior in musicians, let alone humans, and if your dark passenger needs a little fill of debauchery, this podcast will help you experience terror (and laughter) over what humans can do to one another. Serial killers are interesting, but how hostage taking, stalking, arson, and covering up murders happens by those we love dancing to occurs… now that is riveting.
-
RyanRed451Great listenThe show is well written, with great delivery of the story. Everyone that asks for something new to listen to Disgraceland is my first options for them to try. Keep up the great work y’all!
-
Ouateone2You will not be disappointedBeen a fan of this show for years !! I highly recommend this podcast

-
cclbtcVery interesting stories and details!Loved The Beach Boys episode. What brought me here was the connection between Brittany Murphy’s death and the Diddy verse
-
He’s HR d gtgJerry Lee LewisI’ve listened to every episode and this one remains my favorite. It’s the alpha and the promise of what will be delivered. Jake took on one of the wildest rockers ever and set the stage for more epic episodes that keep me tuned in every week. Rockarolla.
-
Lcanderson79FantasticI have been a huge fan of this show since the Arnie Hammer episode. Jake and his crew are amazing storytellers for all things Hollyweird and more.
-
NitokayThis pains me to sayBut this podcast has gone down the tubes. I binged all available episodes last year and have noticed that what’s being put out now are all repeats. No new content unless the host becomes obsessed with a person or topic (*ahem* diddy). Nothing new, nothing interesting. If they can refresh and get some original content I might come back.
-
Mrs. HoronI love Jake Brennen!Look, This Podcast blows my mind! I was raised by a biker and a hippie!Music is my life. My favorite episodes, thus far, are, the Dimebag Daryl episode, which blew me away. I never even Cared about Dimebag Daryl, but that episode, changed my brain! 2nd fave, the John Denver conspiracy episode! I loved it! Thank you, I love you! Monique
