I don’t care what the wife says, if we’re on the east coast we’re going to Wo Hop! Jacked Kirby is one of the best Podcasts out there!! Super informative yet very personal. A couple of hilarious East coast guys with a deep friendship host the show with the occasional appearance by one of their friends or a special, industry guest. The list of luminaries in their catalog is astounding but no matter what the episode is about or who’s there they’re always keep me laughing. And on top of all that, I’ve learned a lot about the comic industry, NYC history, hip-hop, Wo Hop and of course Jack Kirby the King of Comics,

    What are you waiting for???
If you like hilarity along with all things bagged and boarded with white glove obsession or are content with thumbing through a book while eating pizza half choking from these comedic geniuses and then throwing it on the pile of junk mail after….no matter what kinda madness you have, you’ll be happy you found these guys and listened to Jacked Kirby. It makes my husband happy
So, thanks guys. I don’t listen but my husband does and now he started buying old comics and won’t shut up about some place called Wo Hop. 🤷‍♀️ I’m glad he’s happy and thank you for bringing joy to his life but why does he learn things about 90s east coast hip hop on a podcast about a comic book artist? 😉

The best Jack Kirby podcast by some guys from NY.
I’ve been listening to the show for years. I used to live on the East Coast and now I’m on the West Coast and I miss that vibe real bad. Listening to these guys helps me out a lot! Peace!

    A great podcast
This podcast is really worth keeping in your feed if you have any joy for comics. It isn’t always just about Jack, most of the time Jack is a starting off point in the interviews and where that takes some people can be fun. Mike and Tommy are simply fantastic with their guests and are so much fun to listen to. These guys seem to really connect with their guests in such a wonderful way. Everything from contemporary excitement to nostalgic storytelling and the occasional history lesson in between, Mike and Tommy are always worth listening to.

I’d give it 6 stars if I could
Can’t say enough good things about this podcast! Tommy and Mike are hilarious, and the chemistry these two best friends have is obvious and infectious. The conversational tone, as opposed to typical “interview” tones, really allows the guests to open up, and makes you feel like you’re hanging out with old friends shooting the breeze. Great topics and killer guests especially over the last year or two. Look forward to each new show!!

    The Best King Kirby Podcast
Mike and Tommy are the most entertaining and informative podcast on Jack Kirby. I’ve been reading since 1978 and I learn something new every episode! The guests are amazing but I enjoy just listening to their memories of reading Kirby Comics! My highest recommendations for any comic fan!

Jacked Kirby holds it down for The King!
Tommy and Mike are the truest of true scholars when it comes to comics and it shines in every episode. Their love and loyalty to Jack Kirby is the heart of the show while banter and wit serve as the brains. Not only do Tommy and Mike have a profound respect and knowledge of comic book history, but they work as a wonderful on-air duo.

    Long live the King!
The best podcast out there on Jack Kirby and all the roads that lead back to him told through interviews with fans and industry professionals. Thanks for the great show guys!

    The Court Of King Kirby
No one honors the great Jack Kirby like these guys. The show is full of love, compassion, information and REAL talk. Grade A stuff every episode. -Brandon B. Host of Apollo City Comics Podcast

    Mixed bag
Pros: the hosts really love Jack Kirby and share a wealth of information each episode. Their enthusiasm for Kirby is genuine and refreshing. Guest interviews add some periodic variation to the mix. Kirby produced enough material over his life that the podcast is able to focus on different topics each week rather than constantly retreading old conversations. Cons: the hosts regularly and gleefully veer into crude 6th grade boy humor. Additionally, I feel bad for some guests as they end up being silent for long stretches as a host monologues, or worse, they talk over the guest and whatever the guest was saying were is drowned out. Pitfalls associated with conducting remote interviews can reasonably explain some of these things. Overall, I find the hosts to be off-putting whenever they aren't talking about Kirby or comics.

    Super knowledgeable on comics
I listened to this show from tesd they talked to Walt and mike zapzic and about 2 months later I listened to all 63 episodes! Super funny guys too the “touch” Gary the mole man Esposito. I cry laughing at times. Listened to these guys great entertaining show. Made me start drawing again.

This is my favorite comic book-related podcast. Both hosts are entertaining as heck, and I’ve learned a few things from them (and I’m someone who thinks he knows it all already).

So Good on So Many Levels
I love this show. I'm only a few episodes in and am already hooked on this like no other podcast. The hosts are just dudes doing a podcast, albeit ones that are obviously obsessed with Jack Kirby and everything connected to the man. I'm learning a lot, I'm laughing and I'm inspired to read some Kirby books! Must listen, perfect for while you're drawing comics. :)

    Everything I Wanted a Kirby-cast To Be
LOVED the first three episodes of this show. I cannot wait to hear these guys crank out some more. They also mentioned some Kirby stuff I've never heard of, and I grew up in a comic shop! Can't recommend this podcast enough.

    Excellent Podcast for Kirby Fans
This is a great new podcast about Kirby. I would describe it as hanging out in NYC with a few cool, funny guys that know an amazing amount about Jack Kirby's work and career and about comics in general." Most comics podcasts aren't good (bad sound quality, hosts that really don't know that much, hosts trying to be comedians, etc.). This one is an exception. I highly recommend it to any Kirby or comics fans. You'll learn a lot.

    Great angle to acknowledge greatness
Great idea & angle for a podcast, to go further than "fandom" by inviting guests to share history & hard to find facts on Jack Kirby

Informative and entertaining podcast about probably the most influential comic book artist ever. A lot of great information that even super nerds might now know and the VERY colorful characters on the show keep things pretty fun. Very unique and a must for comic fans.

Great find -- informative & humorous
I stumbled on the Jacked Kirby podcast and it's great -- just like another reviewer said, it's like walking into a comic book shop and overhearing a conversation between true fans and shop owners gushing about their shared interest, Jack 'King' Kirby. SO many small facts, discoveries, random asides, and genuine ball breaking amongst these friends and contributors! I look forward to each weekly podcast release.

This is the podcast for you True Believers!
The guys sure do love Jack Kirby and that shines through in each conversation they have... this pod is a history lesson/love letter to the foregone era of comics that are influencing the movies and pop culture of today!

A podcast for fans by fans!
Listening to these guys reminds me of conversations I had with friends before being a comic book geek was fashionable. Non of that fanboy nonsense from guys who think they're experts just cuz they've seen the Avengers 100 times. These guys know their stuff! Definitely worth a listen!

A Podcast Fit For The King...
A really fun and entertaining listen. A bunch of guys getting together and gushing about the best to ever do it, Jack "King" Kirby. The fandom is obvious and endearing, as each of these fellas talk about they're first experience with Kirby's work, and when it was that they finally "got it". Great stuff!
