JV is THE WORST narrator I’ve ever heard. Why on Earth??? Just why!? The others are great!

Literally one of the best podcasts I’ve stumbled/become obsessed with. Actually, now that I’m thinking on it Creepy was the FIRST podcast i found that sold me on the podcast/horror story type thing. Ignore the northern accent and push through ONE episode and you’ll be hooked.

I love horror podcasts. Some are better than others. This is easily in my top 5. John is a great host/ narrator. And I hear some of my favorite narrators from other podcasts 😈

I love all of these episodes and stories but if that JB Hampton is doing one I have to skip it- I cannot stand his voice!

The only issue I have is that the sound effects and background music can be a bit loud and make it kind of hard to hear the narration. This is particularly noticeable in the Ted the caver episode. Other than that, wonderful job!

Enjoy the podcast as well as narrators Jon, Own, Nate, Heather and Danielle. Not a fan of the Holders as I agree with other reviewers that it is repetitive . I also do not enjoy narrators JV and Cole as I find their tones to be sarcastic, monotone and condescending. I tend to skip over their episodes.

I love the podcast and have been listening for years. The narration is almost always so good, but I’m surprised that JV still sounds so inexperienced and awkward while narrating despite doing this for so long. It sounds like they’re just reading, not *narrating*; it’s monotone and a bit stilted. I do like their voice, it just seems like they need voice acting lessons, maybe?

I’ve been listening to Creepy since 21. I’ve listened to almost every public released episode (def skipped some due to poor writing or poor narration). John is by far my favorite narrator followed closely by Owen. Nate’s great and Joe Stofko is excellent, he’s just not featured much any more. I agree with a lot of reviewers that JD is not great. It’s nothing personal I just don’t think she fits well as a narrator. I listen to several other horror pods and creepys my favorite. I think the people noticing the “dip” in good story’s haven’t listened long enough. There’s several stretches with less quality stories. Either way keep it up Creepy ✌️ would love to hear some more classic no sleep/creepy pastas read by the team. Specifically no sleeps “the showers” or “butcher face”I think Owen would nail “the showers”. If ur reading this as a listener, does anyone remember a story about some kids playing hide and seek and they somehow end up falling off a cliff into a cove? The twist is they end up “liking” the pain? I can’t for the life of me remember the episode name. Something cursed cove or bay? If you remember pls comment the name! It’s been driving me crazy.

Love the whole production it’s got variety and spooky takes for everything you can think of will always be my favorite podcast by far

I’ve been listening for a couple of months & I love it. I love how there’s so many different styles of writers & narrations. I like some writers/narrators more than others, but nonetheless I still listen to them all and this is what I look forward to on my way to work Mondays & Wednesdays !!

This used to be a quality podcast, but now I have to skip EVERY story narrated by jw vansant!! Her voice is monotone and grating to listen to, and all of her stories feature a male villain. Quit pushing agendas and get back to the great quality content as soon as you can…. and kick jw to the curb!

I’ve been listening to Creepy for over a year now and loved it. Something changed though. A little before the 31 Days of Horror the stories just stopped being interesting. Then the 31 Days of Horror came along and that was extremely disappointing. Don’t get me wrong the production and the narrators are great but these stories are not it. I loved Creepy but it’s not worth listening to if maybe 1 of 4 stories per episode is good.

Great spooky stories. But it’s the narrator and his delivery that gives me chills!

You will not find anything like this podcast! It is absolutely beautiful. I highly suggest this to any horror lovers out there like I myself.

I loved the 31 days this year! Hoping you return to Creep-Away camp in January. Keep up the great work!

I love this and it doesn’t make you feel left out if you don’t fit in to some genres like other podcasts might. Plus he’s from Minnesota so that’s an extra star right there

I have been listening to creepy pod for about 6+ years. It was the first horror podcast I ever listen to, but this year I am really disappointed and 31 of horror 😔. Stories are hard to keep up with most other stories are narrated by one person. There hasn’t really been a story this month or the last month that I really enjoyed call put me on the edge of my seat. I will continue to support, but I would hope that the stories get better overtime. maybe John just needs some rest. Maybe let the older guy From the farm to narrate for a while or maybe there are some untold tales from the gas station.

Love the stories, can’t do the “Holders” episodes. Also can’t listen to JV Hampton-VanSant anymore, I skip right past as soon as I hear that monotone. 🤷‍♂️ Probably miss some good stories, but her voice doesn’t do any good story Justice.

This is my favorite horror podcast of all time besides the magnus archives, the variety of the content and quality of the voice actors is unmatched. All that being said some of the hands down best episodes of all time are as follows: - Ted the caver - tales from the gas station - gods mouth - the sandman - necro sleep

The production quality is good, narrators are good. Some good episodes, but you have to go through 5 to get to 1. For the most part, the writing is not good.

Been listening for years. Always great voice acting and 95% of the stories are good

I’ve been listening since 2019. I’ve enjoyed every bit of it, especially the classics such as, Ted the Caver, Tales from the gas station, 1999, and many others. Thank you John and crew!

Are we going to have to slog through the entire “Holders” series ? 500+ entries right ? Got old quick and isn’t getting any better. Creepy was better than this.

Man do I love this podcast. Tons and tons of stories highlighting how men are just awful, irredeemable, never-to-be-trusted abusers. There’s no room for the prospect that most men are a force for good who try to provide for their families and mind their own business…no sir! No in Creepy’s watch

I absolutely love the podcast, I’ve been listening for a few years now and I was at work and decided to start from the beginning again…. Omgggggg I love it it’s like I’m hearing some episodes for the first time lol again…..Megan McDuffee GIRL I love ur voice …. It’s so wispy and calming …. Even when the story is good and creepy you seem to just read wonderfully.. ok ok super fan girl over here the intro is awesome man just everything you guys do a wonderful job …. Alright bye lol and Thank you guys so much for the creeps 💯🫥 BTW I love the holder series…. I’d love to see how they come together…. Get it??? See what I did there lol ok ok fr this time bye ✌️

But like most shows they wanted as many people in their audience as possible. The result? Meandering stories that aren’t scary nor creepy, meant for children. Shame.

These voice actors are incredible, I have listened to all the free episodes. There is a massive variety of stories and writing styles. I see too many complaints about The Holder series, it’s temporary! I will say, I wasn’t into the series at first but it grew on me. Now I just really want to hear all of them to hear how it ends. I can’t skip episodes anyway. Hearing Jon start of each episode with the way he says “Nowww” just does something to me 🫢

I began listen about 2 years ago. My very first podcast EVER! I enjoyed so much. Couldn’t get enough. We were warned that the Holders stories aren’t fit everyone and it’s so true. They have no place here. I was never bored before but noticed I’ve skipped many episodes lately. Not sure where the problem lies but I know this podcast can definitely deliver.

Used to really enjoy listening to these episodes even like the first few “holders” episodes but have found myself skipping as soon as I hear the beginning of any of them. Still enjoy the other stories but the “holders” are just not it for me…

1st of all, there’s very few people in a RealEstate office that are paid ANY hourly wage. So there is no “Boss” to send you out anywhere.

Show went from great stories to SCP-style short “stories” giving “instructions” on how to find “Holders.” It’s incredibly boring, formulaic, and isn’t remotely scary. It really ruins my podcast experience to be listening to scary stories and suddenly some guy is telling me to go to the subway and spin around 5 times before knocking on a window 3 times and then shaking a dog’s paw exactly .947 times if I want to find the holder of bloody twinkies.

These stories are sooo creepy. Some are a bit disturbing, so depending on your age, you should listen to the listener discretion. This is for sure one of the best scary podcasts I have listened too! I LOVE the narrator! His voice is soooo good!! It’s a night and day difference from other podcasts I’ve listen too. Definitely give it a listen!!

I used to enjoy this show so much more when they stayed true to what made them successful. In the past year or so the stories just haven’t been scary or suspenseful. I think The Holders series really killed it for me, too slow and boring.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast. It’s one of my favorite things to put on when I want some chills. I can’t get enough!

Never know what kind of story it’s gonna be, never know which superstar narrator is gonna pop up out of nowhere. But there’s always Jon, who’s narration is effortlessly solid, and every now and then he’ll hit a word with full frozen north accent and I laugh and laugh bc it’s great. Also the recent swamp episodes are fantastic. Swamp creepy is the creepiest creepy and y’all nailed it. Trust me, I’m Floridian. 🐊☀️🌴

I absolutely love Creepy! Creepaway Camp is fantastic!!!! Has a holiday (ie. Christmas) series ever been considered? I can only imagine how great it would be. Keep up the fantabulous work!!!!!

Always my go to bed time story! Rotation of narrators keeps things fresh. Can’t beat the annual extra spooky 31 days of Halloween. It also helps that my girlfriend is in love with two of the male narrators voices so she’s always more than willing to listen in on episodes! Great job Creepy!!
