Mailman100Heads in the sandCertain game companies are absolutely pushing a narrative. Call it woke or whatever you want. It doesn’t change the fact that it’s happening. And it seems like gamers are getting tired of it.

MisterbeumelerFantastic Gaming InsightsThis podcast is a must-listen for gamers. It offers insightful perspectives on gaming without the distraction of obnoxious hosts, politics, or crude humor. The content is packed with excellent game recommendations, both new and old, with minimal ads. In addition to thoughtful industry commentary, they provide valuable hardware reviews, making it a great resource for discovering hidden gaming gems. Keep up the fantastic work!

bjm2660Eloquence without SensationalismI really enjoying listening to these guys discuss the gaming landscape. Practical, thoughtful, and eloquent without descending into sensationalism. Bill is a great host. Audio production is top notch too.

oxg89Steam Deck podcastI started following Bill’s podcasts while I was waiting for my Steam Deck to ship after release and I feel that his podcasts have only gotten better as he has teamed up with other content creators and developed a good panel chemistry. I’m looking forward to seeing where they take it.

ericihleThis podcast hurts my ears.Seriously - it really does. The audio volume of the advertising portion on this podcast seems to intentionally be at a (much) higher level than the non-advertising portion of the podcast. I’m always reaching for or yelling at the device playing the podcast to volume down and/or fast forward through the commercial. I will NEVER listen to this podcast with my headphones in. Ouch. 🫨😖

PapaC92Good podcast!I like how he focuses on pc and portable pc gaming because he’s one of the only podcasts that do this and he does it extremely well. He also sprinkles in some gaming news which is just extra goodness!

iLeopardeyeLove NerdNest!These podcasts are awesome.
-
WeezyDoes1TAmazing!Absolutely love this show, bill is great at delivering news while also giving his opinion and insight on current events within the gaming community. Look forward to it every week

Jenn-PuffThe game podcast you needBill is a machine and deserving so much respect, being a full time science teacher, retired military and multi-show podcaster that’s very active online would be ever in the right for pointing out that this run-on sentence could’ve used some breaking up, I still must insist that you check out Games with a Bill because he is funny and has unique opinions and analysis of the games industry. For anyone accusing me of borrowing my wife’s phone to submit a second review, I say watchutalkinbout… and why not, he earned all the reviews.

HotdawgzSplatoonLooks like they did a whole episode for Splatoon, already love this pod

JffjuagInformative and relaxedThis guy grows on you. At first I found this podcast to be rough around the edges, and now I think that’s why I like it so much. It’s not a polished, highly-produced podcast, but that’s part of the appeal. It’s just a highly-informed video game fan giving his take on the latest video game news. And I really like how he makes clear his biases and his personal dislikes and compares that to objective critiques. I’m definitely a fan.
-
wheel house the robo manGreat podcastThis podcast is great because it talks about all the Nintendo news of the week in a short episode and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a Nintendo console.

Cusp587Love this podcast!I’m a truck driver, given the switch works perfectly for my mobile lifestyle, this podcast has been in my weekly podcast rotation for a long time. Short and sweet! Thx!

Hannibal1241Could be greatI really want to like this podcast but it is exhausting to listen to. Bill does 3-4 30 min podcasts per week. A vast number of those minutes are consumed by promoting his other numerous podcasts, Twitter, patreon, discord and ads like anchor. When he does get to actual content it is great, but to wade through the slog of self promotion and revenue is just a little much. I understand the model. If he has 500 listeners and it’s a once a week show the revenue and exposure is not what it is if those 500 listen multiple times per week. I think a well thought out weekly show would be amazing from him. I wish him well and think it could be great but it has just worn me down where I don’t like to listen anymore.

Slackjaw 5403Awesome for even a casual gamer!!!I am by no means a certified gamer but I love all things Nintendo. So this podcast is awesome for me and my experience level. He never talks too in-depth and the content is great. Overall, 5 stars!!! Keep it up!
-
Solo_somethingThe man, the myth, the legendAwesome show! Well paced podcast for time blocks of news, and maintains unbiased opinions of games he reports upon. Highly, highly interactive with guest on Twitch streaming of his show; trust me in you never know where the conversations go to when he breaks from recording live to interact with his fans (ie. Real talk and nothing inappropriate).
-
Ro Ro's gameAmazingI listen to 143 pixels, stadiacast, and nintendo switch craft. Run jump stomp makes great podcasts and if you like nintendo then you should listen to this.
-
ChuckD777Excellent podcast for Switch fans!!!RJS does a great job bringing new content out on a regular schedule. And it’s quality too! Yes Bill does give an opinion that I don’t always agree with, but that’s what I like. No fanboy here, just good quality, up to date news with a touch of opinion. If you’re looking for an easy way to stay up to date on games and Switch news than look no further, just hit play and enjoy!

DeathByClams (via Twitter)Keep 'er GoinThank you for being incredibly reliable, and I love the inclusion to the discord, as well as your schedule for episodes. It leaves no room for missed news and content, and I know I can always count on you!

SLYBOY_22A podcast for fans of Nintendo!I saw a review that said the podcaster records on the fly and doesn’t prepare and often has to look things up during the show and gets facts wrong. I think that’s a very misleading review for because you have to know a few things, one Bill records this podcast live on twitch. He’s interacting with the live audience which sometimes can lead him on to a tangent but he is very prepared. Secondly as far as mixing up facts part of that review I think that is also extremely misleading if Bill ever says something incorrect he most certainly corrects it in the next information or if he reach out to him on twitter and I’m sure in his discord as well. I started listening around episode 270 when I was thinking of getting a switch, Bill’s passion and love Nintendo sold me and I’ve loved my switch ever since. I’m an ultra casual gamer and I don’t enjoy a lot of the games Bill does but this podcast is always keeping me updated on Nintendo news and giving me options of new things to play or try. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a podcast. Like Bill says “not everything is made for everyone and that’s okay.” But this is definitely not a 1 Star podcast.
-
MikeyGraf80Doesn’t always have accurate infoThe podcaster records the show on the fly. It doesn’t seem like he is always prepared, because he often needs to look things up in the middle of the show. Also, often gets facts mixed up.
-
Jay88FitnessAwesome and Dependable4 Podcasts a week with all the NIntnedo news a guy could ask for! Awesome!
-
ike4565347865OopsI began listening at around 240 and just realized that I have not gave the switchcraft a 5 star review yet!!!

katjust123Unsubscribed. Got too opinionated and condenscendingThe strength of this show is the up to date news, not the opinions. I like a lot of other Nintendo podcasts. I listened to this one for about a year. I ultimately got tired of the host over explaining and talking down to the listeners. Deciding to unsubscribe when he went on a rant about how dev employees should form a union. Maybe they should, maybe they shouldn’t. I don’t know. What pushed me over the edge was when he said he would “ignore” anyone who responded who was “anti-union”. I was annoyed that he was ranting, but as the host often does he habitually puts something down and then says “it’s okay if you like it, but it’s not for me.” I know it’s okay to disagree, but does the host really believe that? I’m not so sure. Won’t be listening anymore. Still 3 stars because the show isn’t garbage. It’s just “not for me.” Listen and make up your own mind.

GinuwinejayAwsomeGreat Nintendo podcast!!! A must listen!!

d4nnyph4ntom311SolidSolid Nintendo podcast. I have to say, sometimes I really don’t agree with his opinions BUT Bill remains consistent with dishing out the podcasts week after week. He has grown on me. Always entertaining. Always talks about the news stories you want to hear about. Worth the sub for sure!
-
Sheidt81Great content!I’ve been on the train of this podcast since about the start of summer. It’s really great, quality content. Bill does a great job of staying on top of news and Injecting listener feedback! If you want to really be involved more make sure to check out his discord, full of a bunch of great fans and people.

Matt trumbleAwesome podcastI’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple weeks now and so far it’s my go to podcast for switch. He creates so many shows a week that’s only around 30 to 40 minutes and every episode is jam packed with great news and information. I’ll be listening to this podcast for as long as it’s going to be running. Keep up the good work and congratulations on the podcast nomination.
-
Cstratton21Awesome podcast!Bill creates great content. Show is pretty family friendly and focuses on Nintendo news and updates. Love listening and being part of his community. Keep up the good work!

tqmcguireMy New FavoriteA few months back, I searched for "Nintendo" in my podcast app, Downcast. Great app, BTW. Anyway, the first one I subscribed to was Nintendo Pulse from REZDtv. I loved Lloyd's show and downloaded all the Retro Pulse episodes (I miss those now, FWIW). During an episode, Lloyd mentioned Nintendo Switch Craft. I can't remember if RJS was on the episode, but I checked it out and loved it. Bill is entertaining and presents the news and reviews in a great way. He knows how to convey information in a way doesn't feel like you're being talked at; you're being talked to. You feel like part of the show. Both the show and the whole Nerd Nest community on Discord are fantastic and welcoming. These online communities tend to follow the leader's example and, in this case, that leader is involved and responsive and it makes it a great experience. Every episode of Nintendo Switch Craft and his other show, Stadiacast, are both must-listens for me.
-
Scott MahanA must listen for Nintendo Switch playersI was turned onto Bill’s podcast from Nintendo Pulse and I’m glad I checked it out. RJS does a great job of covering the news and giving his opinions/reviews. And he keeps it real. He tells you how he sees things and won’t BS you. If a game isn’t his thing, he will say so, but not in a way that is insulting, unless he is insulting himself. I look forward to every episode and also enjoy his other podcasts. Keep up the great work. You rock! -Raskull

Hidden StageMy Favorite Nintendo PodcastThis podcasts has slowly but surely became one of my most listened to podcasts. I tune in on each and every episode. He’s a very informative and knowledgeable guy and I appreciate being updated on all the latest Nintendo news. I’ve been taking a break from YouTube lately and listening to this podcast has still kept me informed on all of the Switch news bits I might have missed. Thanks man for the great listen and keep this going, I’m enjoying it a ton.
-
ToastyRyanInformative and well put togetherThis is a very well put together Switch podcast. The hose covers everything from specs to rumors speculations. The sound quality is great as well. Keep up the good work!

Vermillion KFilled with Self Promotion, Lacking in ContentI've been looking for more Nintendo Switch podcasts, and I have to say...this one is just so one-note. It's filled with Ads, Patreon pleas, Affiliate Links, and every which method to monetize a podcast. For a 30 min podcast, you can imagine that a lot of the podcast content itself is filled with this self-promotion. There are more episodes overall, but it doesn't actually have -that- much content, really.
-
Pink Flamingo Clown FishInformative and Opinionated.I've been listening to podcast Nintendo Switch Craft now for nearly two years. It had been requested to me by another related podcast called Nintendo Pulse, (and I was glad that the request had been made). Nintendo Switch Craft has become my number one podcast for Nintendo news, and I think and feel the host of the podcast does an superb job at giving his opinion, being, I think, the most important thing about the podcast. Thanks Bill!
-
davidreviewSubscription, Affiliate Links, and now ADsI get he wants the affiliate links for extra money. The Patreon or Anchor monthly support. And now ADS to play during the podcast. Maybe since I’m new I missed something but it seems like it’s just the news that’s the primary purpose of the 30 minute podcast. Some news came out in some article or statement is made and he comments on that. Maybe you already know about that or read that info or maybe you didn’t. I know I heard his thoughts about a game he tried or likes. Maybe I’m missing something. It wouldn’t be the first time I didn’t see or think of something. I’m not trying to be mean or rude. Just seems like a lot of ways to try and get money but I’m not seeing or hearing why the money should come in.
-

BrusselsyoloFun informative podcast!RJS discusses game releases and Nintendo news and gives his take on what each story means for the company and for the consumer. Very unbiased, informative, and fun to listen to, he will commend Nintendo when they deserve it but be harsh on them when needed as well.
