Great show but large amount of commercials make it nearly twice as long as it could be

For a while, I really enjoyed this podcast but lately there are 3-6 ads for a 6 minute podcast. I understand ads are needed but for this amount of time 3+ is too many for me.

3m30s ads, 4m30s content.

It’s okay to leave your ad in the begging of the show, but every podcast you advertise new Macs, new phones, whatever else with words like “oh, Intel released its new processor with X, Y, Z characteristics”. Who cares?

Dr Nicole, please start creating these science podcasts more than once a week. As you would say, this one was very touching 😉

Content is good only when you can understand a person that speaks well and ads are irrelevant..!

I want to keep listening, but the show is overshadowed by excessive advertising. I’m going to unsubscribe just cause of that. I like the “super sparkly day”.

I’ve listened to Tom & friends for years, since the TWIT days. I just unsubscribed and removed Daily Tech Headlines from my Flash Briefing because of too many ads. I don’t mind listening to 3 minutes of ads for a 30 minute show, but not for a 5 minute one. The number and length of ads just keep increasing. Often the sound levels aren’t balanced so the ad is either too loud or quiet. I also agree that the “super sparkly” thing sounds unprofessional.

Short form of "Daily Tech News Show" this is all the tech you need to know today. Rich and Tom keep me updated daily. Listen to this.

Great information but loses professionalism with every "super sparkly" sign-off

The show is only 5 minutes or less. Now it's 20 percent of more of ads now.

Great supplement to DTNS

Great show but I hate how they spam the feed with useless stuff on the weekends

The DTNS team provides an informative and entertaining review of daily tech headlines, with a pretty fair and balanced perspective. Roger, Sarah, and Tom, along with a long list of great recurring guests (Scott, Patrick, Justin, Veronica, Shannon Allison, etc) bring a wealth of insight to the discussion. This podcast will keep you significantly better informed, no doubt.

Thoughtful and surprisingly thorough for a short podcast. Good move bringing in Sarah Lane. Had to give up the long-winded and inappropriate Leo. Missed her.

I plan on putting this on my mother’s Echo, she’ll love it in her morning briefing. I put it in my Google Home daily briefing right after NPR headlines; its quick and factual. I can watch Tom Merritt and Sarah Lane do and in-depth discussion of the news later when I watch the Daily Tech News podcast.

Very well done. A staple for my commute!
