At first I was unsure. Jack, forgive me, you say things I find challenging. Things that make me go, ‘Oh god, you can’t say that.’ Things that make me wonder, ‘What is it about Jacks way of words that makes me uncomfortable?’ I’ve come to realise, you’re too candid. Too real. Too raw. It makes me wonder, what is it about me, this paradigm, this zeitgeist, that causes me to think this way? And Jack, I appreciate that. Thank you for the challenge. Your candour, realism, raw…ness? Is appreciated. You are exactly what I, and suspect many others existing in this time and this place, need. I have been a patron for years but I am ABSOLUTELY LOVING Tales from the Bottom Down, great banter between you two and love the non-woke vibe. Stories are awesome and the joke parts lighten the mood and have me crying in tears of laughter. Not for the weak or sensitive folks but love that about it. Highly recommend.

I enjoy listening to Jacks voice. Love his humour, dark though it is. He’s storytelling on the crime is interesting. I have just started to listen to DARK TOPIC and it’s been all I listen to as I go back and forth from work. DARK TOPIC is in my top five in fact Dark Topic is my number one. So I recommend this podcast. DARK TOPIC will pull you in. You can feel the terror the tension, you are so close to the victim. Jack also puts his dark humour.,He’s empathetic and honest. Takes you on a ride down a slippery slope of evil in our world with beautifully poetic and honest tellings that are unlike any other. His husky yet cutely masculine voice with a peppering of heavy beats that remind me to breathe leave me wanting.

Man just when I thought I can’t listen to another podcast about Albert fish or Jeff Dahmer, I stumble upon dark topic and it’s creator Jack Luna. Jacks writing and story telling is so good that he can make the true crime stories we have all heard 1000 times before, seem like a brand new story.

Jack’s voice is unreal & perfect for true crime podcasting, the delivery is obscure & interesting & takes you on a journey. Unique & brilliant!! Tell your friends :-)

Prepare to be absorbed into Jack Luna’s dark musings. Luna’s podcast is well researched, beautifully written and filled with clever metaphors and haunting imagery. Can’t recommend it enough, it’s the best.

This podcast confuses me. I love Dark Topic and Jack Luna but this is just odd. I feel like I’m listening to one of those dumb true crime podcasts that use too many sound bites to jazz up their show. What does Luna owe ‘the doctor’ that’s making him be involved in this. I hope theirs a part of Luna that thinks this is a bad choice... maybe I’m wrong. Not for me, making too much of a joke of the crime. This is for you if you like True Crime Garage ect.

My favourite true crime podcast... Jack Luna is a boss. The writing and narration is raw and compelling. It makes you uncomfortable and twitchy and paranoid.

Yes, it’s dark but Mr Luna has a an original voice. His writing is fantastic with a natural understanding of rhythm and emphasis. He breaks the flow with ad libs that reveal himself. Excellent stuff.

Jacks take on life and story telling is a cut above anyone else out there. This podcast is the TV equivalent of The Simpson’s, seasons 1-8. The gold standard.
