The Masters of Sex After Show recaps, reviews and discusses episodes of Showtimes's Masters of Sex.Show Summary: William Masters and Virginia Johnson are known as pioneers of the science of human sexuality. Their research shoots them to fame on a trajectory that takes them from humble beginnings in the Midwest to the cover of Time magazine. Masters is a brilliant scientist who is out of touch with his own feelings. Johnson is a divorced mother who is ahead of her time on many fronts, including her determination to have a meaningful career. Entertaining
It is nice to hear some conversation after the show. Provokes thoughts that I normally would think about.

    Masters of Sex
Do these people even watch the show? They are very lazy - can't remember the names of characters, plot points, etc. Have they heard of the internet? It's useful to find out about things you don't know. Also, need hosts of a certain age who can relate to the time in which the show is set.

    So Much Better
I contemplated giving this podcast up. This show is so much more than sex and orgasms. The prior hosts were obviously too immature to understand and discuss a show like this. The new hosts are fantastic. I have enjoyed them on other podcasts and it's nice to hear an adult conversation about a very adult show. THIS is the conversation that I have been looking for in regards to such a wonderful television show. Great return and such a sigh of relief.

New & MUCH Improved for Season 3
2 Stars was for the former hosts & podcasts, but if Adrian Snow & Will Link are taking the helm and the recaps will be like this first one of season 3, I am subscribing. Great review and new hosts. Please do not bring the others back! October 21, 2013 Review: Not Bad But... I do like that the women speak openly about sex which is refreshing, just like the show. But it would be nice to have a male perspective on the panal since the show is about how both males and females view and react to sex. And since I read the first review, all I can hear are all the likes. It is a little annoying but this is a new podcast so I'm going to stick with it. P.S. You did not post the new podcast this week. The one for episode 4 is actually the one from last week's episode 3. You probably want to make sure you have the right one up so people can stick with the podcast.

    You know!
I'm only 2 episodes in and I don't know how much longer I can take it. The one girl says "You Know" hundreds of times in each show and it starts to drive me nuts.

    Entertaining but....
I really wanted to like this podcast since I like the show so much. I like some of the hosts but others go off on tangents talking about things like their "sign" that have nothing to do with the show!!

Masters of Sex deserves more intelligent reviewers.
After nine weeks of listening, I have finally given up and unsubscribed to this podcast. The only intelligent person is the male on the cast. He doesn't get to speak very much. The girls on the show ( they are too childish to be called women) are insufferable. One is contantly whining that she wants to see more sex scenes. May I suggest you rent a porno? That is not the only subject of the show. Another one of the women is constantly saying that "Libby" is stupid which shows that she knows nothing of the times in which this story is set. The third female on the show is equally ignorant of the mores of the time period and continually complains that the show isn't dramatic enough. May I suggest any one of the stupid "Housewives of" shows? Masters of Sex isn't meant to be a soap opera. What finally broke the camel's back was when this week, the'Libby hater" said she hopes Libby loses the baby. Even though this is a fictional re-telling, that was just plain messed up. Yeesh! I'm out here.

    Need smarter people
The hosts on this show aren't your brightest. When they talk about sex, they talk like smug teenagers. They miss broad social themes in the show. And they don't seem to understand the history. In addition, they talk in circles and go off subject a lot. They also do not do a very good job interviewing guests.

    Love this podcast!!
Okay so yes, the first podcast they did defer a little but they totally stick to the show now and drop off little sex factoids on Masters & Virginia's research now. I love all the members and think they have very unique and different perspectives!

    Talk about the show, maybe???
Enough about the hosts' sex lives. More about the show they are supposed to be discussing. I may be pre-judging but I am fifteen minutes into the first episode and they have hardly mentioned the show at all. Get rid of the sexpert and bring on a tv critic, please.

    Like, not super awesome
One of the girls podcasting used the word "like" every few words and I just couldn't listen anymore. She also said, "and I like literally died." If you had "literally died," you wouldn't be podcasting anymore. She sounded like a sweet girl and might be fun to hang out with, but if she wants a career in podcasting, she needs to work on her speaking skills.
