    this podcast knows ball
Started listening less than a year ago, and I’ve already learned more about modern baseball from this podcast than everywhere else combined, and it’s not particularly close. It is an absolute gift to be able to listen to guys with this amount of “inside baseball” knowledge talk so openly and in such detail.

    Easily the best Mets Podcast
It’s amazing ito have two knowledgeable and analytical baseball minds that are passionate Mets fans that cover the ins and outs of everything Mets related.

    I love these reviews
All the one stars are from people crying about wokeness. If you’re too soft to listen to opinions like “maybe people should be paid a living wage” and “people should not be looked at as commodities”, maybe examine how your life became this way. Been listening since AAA, love the content. Thanks for the long shows, they keep me occupied all week

Vocal frying and lispy accents are murder on the ears
Decent coverage, but the podcasters voices are beyond annoying.

    Speak louder
Can Jeffrey stop whispering into the microphone? If you’re trying to listen in anything but i completely silent room, you can’t hear him. Speak louder and into mic please.

    Excellent podcast!
This is one of the two best Mets podcasts, and I’ve been listening since the start! It’s really good to hear honest, informed discussion, and it’s changed the way I think about and watch baseball.

This pod is at its worst when it’s meek and shrill hosts squeal leftist cancel culture.

A great mix of baseball analytics, Mets fandom and wrestling!
For All You Kids... is one of my favorite podcasts. Jeffrey and Jarrett blend humor, intelligence and experience in what is routinely a 2-hour weekly show that never seems to drag on. As a Mets fan, their baseball chatter is right up my alley, with reactions to the goings-on of my favorite team. To top it off, the “third half” of the snow provides my weekly recap of what’s happening in the professional wrestling world. I couldn’t possibly find a more perfect and strange marriage of two of my interests and I therefore highly recommend this podcast!

    Best Mets Podcast out there
Two incredibly knowledgeable BP writers, who lay everything out in layman’s terms, especially the one with the quintessential Central Jersey accent

    Best Mets podcast
Both hosts are incredibly knowledgeable. If you really care about the Mets, you need to listen to this podcast. Great inner workings(?) insight and prospect analysis. I don't even like pro wrestling and I still listen to the last "half" of the pod bc it's still super entertaining. Now onto the cons: It’s hella pretentious. I mean it’s more Jarrett, who I think is a great resource and has a good track record (and he’ll let you know about it lol). I assume most scouts are like this but there’s a lot of conclusions made on a player’s career. Their thoughts on players are less fluid compared to what they expect of orgs and other ppl who care about prospects (Ie “not every player progresses linearly”). It’s turned into a lot of whining and rehashing of the Mets being the Mets. While that’s all valid, it’s exhausting and sometimes, it feels like a 90 minute therapy session for Jarrett where he just complains about everything.

Great pod with knowledge and passionate guys
    Love the wrestling talk too.

"Small market for Mets and wrestling podcast"
Really good for all things Mets and professional wrestling. Awesome insight and entertaining dialogue at the same time!
  • WM869
Great for Mets but move the wrestling to a different pod
Great insight into Mets prospects and they don’t hold back their opinions when discussing the current team. Should make a separate pod for wrestling. Some episodes seem to have more wrestling content than baseball content which is frustrating.

    Great Podcast
If you are a masochist or a delusional optimist then this is the correct podcast for all of your Mets listening needs. You get to hear how the Mets: have a broken process, have disappointing players, and have unaccountable management. You also get to hear about the farm system, which turns out mostly bad and disappointing players like all farm systems, but in that is the hope. The hope that the future will be better and the old will die and the young will represent rebirth!

Great show, basically the old AAA podcast. The only difference is that Jeff replaced his old co-host Chris who never spoke with Jarrett who never shuts up. It’s a bit self indulgent. I always skip the wrestling portion because I’m not 9. They often tease inside esoteric baseball info only to back off which is kind of obnoxious. Jarrett is the worst mouth breather I’ve ever heard. Somebody get him some nasal spray! I’ll miss the Terry bashing won’t miss the preemptive Dom Smith bashing. There’s a borderline obsession there. Definitely the most hipster Mets cast out there.

    Best Mets pod around
There are some great Mets pods out there but Jeff and Jarrett kill it every week even though it can be (very) depressing. It's also great that they're prospect experts and can bring a bit extra to the show that normal Mets fans can't. Also, not a wrestling fan so glad there's a heads up when that is coming so I can skip it. Though every time I do I'm afraid I'll miss 2 more minutes of great Mets analysis (even though I probably just finished listening to 2 hours of it)

This is great stuff. Most enjoyable and insightful Mets podcast out there.

Best The Horse Whisperer Fan Podcast
Ok, the podcasts sometimes ramble into talk of obscure prospects from Non-Mets teams, and most episodes include wrestling talk, but you can't find two guys with better knowledge of the Mets farm system, major league team, and MLB rules generally. Also, these guys crank out hours of content per week for us. For that, I'm grateful. I almost dinged you guys a star for Jarrett's raspy voice, but like Lady Gaga, he was born this way.

    Mets Pod
If you love the mountain goats, New Japan wrestling and the Mets than this is the podcast for you. Even if you only love the Mets this is a funny podcast with a lot of in depth (slightly pessimistic) information on prospects, Mets and baseball news.
  • David Klain
    They're both unbelievably annoying
Jarrett sounds stoned out of his mind and Jeff is just too melodramatic and his hate for Terry Collins is over the top.
  • Basement Talk
    Truly Amazing
I truly look forward to this podcast coming out every Sunday. Jeffrey and Jarrett have to be the two most highest authorities on Mets baseball there is today.
  • MetsListener
This is my favorite wrestling podcast
And one of my top 3 favorite baseball ones.

    Best Baseball Podcast
Whether you're a Mets fan or not, this podcast is a must-listen. Jeff & Jarrett are not only more knowledgeable about baseball than anyone I know, they have an incredible rapport that makes a 2.5 hour podcast Breeze by.

Smartest Met Discussion in the Universe
Bar none, the smartest, hippest and most honest public discussion on the New York Mets you'll find anywhere. They cover it all, crappy ownership, front office wheeling and dealings, deep insight into the farm system, prospect writings, media analysis, social media analysis, smart stats, dumb stats, gut reactions and a deep surgical analysis of the mental state of whoever the current manager is. As an added bonus, you get incredibly interesting discussion on the rest of the MLB, the business of baseball and special guest reporters. They also talk about wrestling, but usually save it for the end of their generously lengthy podcasts giving you much appreciated all clear to turn it off at that point! Seriously, a great effort and they will pretty much answer anything you ask them via email or facebook, engendering them to their rapidly growing fan base.

    Yep
Aging hipsters? Yep. Bowling? Yep. Mixed drinks? Definitely. Two and a half our episodes during the off season? Always. Wrestling content? Waaaay too much, but at least you know when it's coming. Forgetting the name of the High-A manager? Well ya know. It's the Mets content that I want to listen to. It comes out every week and jumps to the top of my feed.
  • Gardoni
    Best Mets Podcast!!!
Jeff and Jarrett have great chemistry on the air and they also do a well-informed, fun show.
  • Moeshageorgeoscar
    Great
    Even with the wrestling talk

    Great Pod!
Great job with the new podcast guys! I'm an avid listener since Jeff's days at AA. Was a bit bummed when he left, but really glad when I found this podcast. I find it to be very insightful and offers a mature and intellegent view of baseball, that I feel has been lost in the days of sports talk radio. I also really enjoy the 2 hour plus shows. It makes for great content during my commutes to work. Keep up the great work. Lets go Mets!

    It lives!
This is Jeff's old Amazin Avenue podcast, just with a new name. Which is a very good thing.
