This podcast has been such an amazing blessing to me over the years. There is so much evidence of charity and humility over a such a wide range of topics. I was initially not looking forward to the Systematic Theology of Herman Bavinck but it has really been a blessing over the last year and a half or so. Such rich and deep theology and robust conversations are truly encouraging to hear and I am so thankful to the whole team that makes these conversations happen.

Honestly love this podcast so much and the way it has been not only challenging, but forming my thoughts / views / beliefs / etc. It’s a refreshing listen that transports me out of the slew of the world and back to the true gospel and what it looks like for us and means for us today. I also love that their humor and humanity is kept in the episodes, really comforting and encouraging oddly enough. Appreciate the time and investment to help train up many!!

I really appreciated the exvangelicals. Particularly the conversation about the need for stories about healing and transformation in contrast to the deconstruction and denunciation on social media. I have known people who have renounced their faith or stopped following Jesus, and that can be really discouraging. However, I have run into old friends that I knew from several years ago that are still following Jesus, and those are some of the most encouraging and refreshing conversations I’ve had. It’s so important to be reminded of how God is still at work in contexts outside my own.

I’ve been listening to TWC for a few years. It quickly became one of my favorite and go to podcasts. I’m grateful for their hearts for pastoring, and it naturally bleeds into the way they approach the topics they put forward. They are so adept at the art of keeping the tension of thoughtfully applying the Gospel to the issues of our culture without snapping to grab a pot full of platitudes to pour into the awkward and difficult conversations. As a Christian and a lay leader I have found TWC to so often put words to things I’m feeling in my heart as I personally and corporately process the issues of our day in light of the Scriptures. It has been equal parts encouraging (without being an echo chamber) and challenging to my heart and perspective. Would and have recommended TWC to any thoughtful disciples.

It’s so refreshing to hear level-headed, honest conversation regarding our culture that doesn’t shy away from difficult questions.

This podcast covers a lot of topics. It’s like sitting down to discuss things with friends. I appreciate the work they are doing.

I've been subscribing for over a year (and went back and listened to every episode) and it never fails to inform or challenge me. Many great episodes on living a gospel centered life as well as ventures into political issues - but always tying them back to the gospel and challenging us on how we see think about these issues.

I mean… I'm on the podcast. So of course I'm going to say good things about it. But for real - it's three ministry leaders having a weekly, unscripted conversation about the real questions and issues that come up as we live real life in a local church. Helpful for all Christians who want to apply the gospel more fully to everyday life. A few minor production kinks still to work out… mostly Dusty breathing in the mic
